Welcome back.
Google Keyboard has been the best since its release.

>Welcome back

Such an apt first comment. It's literally been months since I've been here.

Wasn't as bad as when I left it, judging from today.

Now get rid of the screen tint crap and use the ambient light sensor to control brightness instead.

Still too bright for me at night.

It's Twilight, I like it.

My eyes legitimately hurt when I turn it off and decide to post and read shit on clover.

You can control the brightness without tinting the screen. Its a placebo.

it's not

How do I customize it? I heard it has theme support but I don't see anything in the settings

You have to update it first ;)

Then you just go to setting and themes.

Hope you're not backloading it.

Does it still send everything you type to Google's servers?

*Sideload

I'm sorry user, but I just like my meme keyboard more.

is that Fleksy?

also what are those options on the top right corner for?

Fleksy was my go-to before Blackberry keyboard

It is fleksy. I really like it so far. Really responsive, and fairly customizable. I was actually using the littlest option before I switched over, and it rarely got an error. Haven't turned on swipe though.

The shit on the right is to add gif's, emojis, and other cancerous things.

i would definitely use this if it had a japanese input option
apparently there was one at some point but it's gone now

Yeah I had an ebin Fleksy period.

Then I was tired of the gimmick and wanted another one, the slide keyboard one.

I think it does have slide now? I really like Fleksy, I heard it was ded tho.

Otherwise my second favorite keyboard.

...

>browsing the chin with your phone

ugh

What's the best keyboard for Japanese? Google?

nice

I've been using Fleksy for so long I can't go back to other keyboards now, I just I just can't use them

Too bad Fleksy stopped being developed...

SwiftKey

youtu.be/hS8WrXNnwTo

I think Fleksy died before they actually implemented Japanese though

xperia Japanese keyboard looks like this

It's not that's how melatonin works, light had kelvin levels

Using this for couple of years.

It mimics iphones keyboard dynamic size touch area prediction only on iphone you don't visually see it happening.

Can confirm is the best

Ugh, that looks so unusable.

How does it compare to others tho?

Wew lad

It's abandoned and all fucked up and broken, you have to disable animations on 6.0 since they're kinda choppy looking but I still find it the best keyboard for smaller phones.

Whole trick is that based on dictionary it makes letter that has higher statistical probability being next bigger than others and it makes wonders for speed and accuracy of typing.

Hacker's Keyboard mustard race

Use CF.Lumen instead of Twilight.

Twilight is closed source crap

Red Moon is FOSS and has all of twilight's features

What keyboard lad?

SwiftKey this theme was free, not sure if it still is thought.

>tfw gave up android and switched to blackberry for the physical keyboard
feels fucking great

I just wish I could change the color if the letters a little but oh well. Also wish switching to noontime wasn't so clumsy unlike with Swiftkey. Also wish I could change the font.

Oh god, why is the text prediction and auto correct so bad? Maybe I'll go back to Swiftkey after all

idiots. just use the AOSP one. its the best

no bépo layout support, no multi-language support

I guess I’ll stay for now with Swiftkey.

>needing to see the keys

I've been using swiftkey forever and don't think I can leave at this point desu

In Swiftkey, is there a way to have the numbers in a row at the top of the keyboard when you push the 123 button rather than having them in a dialpad configuration?

You can have a number row or long press the top row.

>he fall in blue light eye fatigue meme

Try using it for a few weeks and then try using your phone at night without it.

I don't want the number row on the ABC keyboard though, and the long press sucks

Chrooma Master Race

Just changed from Google keyboard and this thing is so snappy, it has all Google keyboard features and more

Edgy

This. CF.lumen is so much better than the red screen bullshit that is Twilight.

>Still no option for the number row to always show

fucking christ clear your notifications charge you phone find a decent signal and respond to all these messages you are ignoring

so?

>using your phone to shitpost instead of a memepad glued to your torso

normies leave

Yes G-Board is the best keyboard

>twilight
>makes everything red
>even the blacks
Do yourself a favor and install cf.lumen
Also, Hacker's Keyboard a best.

What is a good filter for it? I'm using the 3400k one, I like it but it doesn't seems as effective as getting rid of all blue pixels, and I dislike too much red

Botnet
It knows what I'll post before I type

>mobile site

Wouldn't it make more sense to _not_ change the size of the keys just the target areas. Like iOS does by default? Looks disgusting.

I don't use apps for browsing websites

user can you share that background?

Unless you are still on kitkat, there is no reason to use twilight over f.lux.

Has swiftkey degraded over the past few years? I never hear anyone talk about it anymore.

I still use it, but maybe it's time for me to change. Any suggestions? I'm on an HTC One M8

Samsung stock keyboard mustard race.

Do they have ads on the keyboard as well?

...

What

Not the OP but f.lux needs root acces

>still not arrow keys
trash

Why do you need arrow keys when you can move the cursor by holding and moving your thumb on the space bar

Google Keyboard uses their botnet ability well, the suggestions from swiping is much better than Swiftkey's

didn't know this before, thanks user.

Thx for that.

>2016
>not using best layout

fucking a, keyboards not visible.

Oh no, am I using a Sup Forums-deprecated android keyboard? Fuck all of you.

this is swiftkey です。

How do I get the keyboard to work on Android

Fuck, this board is so dead.

3 years ago I remember no thread was older than 12 hours.

This thread is 2 days old

Thanks for the tip, brother

What's the best one for T9?

>Fleksy stopped being developed
they've just been bought out by pinterest. active dev should start up soon. pinterest tho...

swiftkey's great but i'm a little spooked after some people reported seeing suggestions intended for other people, including email addresses.

Pimply gaymers and their GPU-threads clear discussion pretty swiftly

>all those notifications

gross

Their latest releases have been pretty crap though.

It's bretty gud.
