Who here using window blinds?

Who here using window blinds?

It's actually worth the $10 to get rid of windows 10's ugly theme.

...

Yours is even worse OP.

Update to Windows 10. The new anniversary update (available worldwide on the following weeks) has a sweet dark theme.

...

this is windows 10.

and a darker theme is the last thing it needs lol, I hate the ugly dark theme it has now.

...

Here's a nice one for the 7 fans out there.

...

This is what you get when you take Windows 10 and try to make it look like shit. It doesn't even look like Windows 7

Windows 7 doesn't have ribbon.

>Paying money to customize your os

You can make pretty much the same shit with Classic Start Menu. I decided to use 100% transparency, but I could also make it look like glass.

Install UXStyle and get a visual style from Deviant Art.

There's a windows 10 customization pastebin somewhere.

>pay $10 for more bloat

Blatant shill thread.

To make the explorer look less retarded and actually use tabs, I use Clover.

how ugly does that look when you open up a browser.

As ugly as your browser of choice is, I suppose.

Congrats, you somehow made it look worse than KDE plasma.

Your resolution seems fucked up.

Yeah, I can't change that right now. I use a 4k screen with custom font/overlay zoom and a regular 1920x1080 TV which gets fucked up by the zoom. Being a lazy hobo, I'm already lying in bed in front of the TV, so you have to deal with that shitty resolution right now.

why the fuck is your explorer blurry

>thiccc taskbar
nice bait user

>"windows 10's ugly theme"
>Posts the most broken piece of shit theme that i've seen since linux desktop thread
>...and even pays for it

How damned fucking retarded are you OP?

Using this on my W7.

>Windows Blinds still exists
I remember last using that like 20 years ago or something.

That looks like absolute shit, OP. You don't actually think that looks good, do you?

>memories of being a teenager and having installed that shit on my 1 gb ram XP computer 10+ years ago to make it look "cool"
>looked like shit so uninstalled and put vista inspirat on it, never looked back

Pretty sure my parents still have that thing on their basement, full of racing games, shooters and low quality anime porn.

Why not just use Windows 7?

Why not use Windows 95?

>tfw you'll never have a perserved image of that HDD so you can revist your nostalgia in awesome VR immersion as an a adult.

There's no 64 bit Win95 and it doesn't support most of the software that I want to use. It's also hard to get it running at my widescreen monitor's resolution and aspect ratio.

Still got the drive. Works great.

That's hideous. That's even worse than Windows 10 theme.

the real question is; who in their right mind would use windows 10?

Fuuuuuck you.

I think my parents still have an image on the server from when they grounded me and combed through it.

Could you imagine asking for that though? Like really?

r wallpaper

>not removing that half assed notification center

can I add backgrounds to my explorer? I haven't been able to do gay shit like that since Windows 7 and reg hax.
>pic related; how my pr0nz folder used to look
if so, I'd srsly look into it.

That's pretty neet

Rice it all you want, you're still a weeb fag.

>Can't read folder names
>VLC

Wow congrats Sup Forums babbys, you managed to make a shitty looking UI even worse somehow

All it took was going back a decade back to aero, lmao

You COULD read them when they were highlighted

Eh, VLC works for my webms.
It used to be an optional music player, but since they never updated their Rainmeter dll, I can't support it anymore.

Only thing I use it for is offline webms, now

Wait... do Windows users really have to pay to change the looks of the interface?

>Wait... do Windows users really have to pay to change the looks of the interface?
depends on how changed you want it.
there's RICED and then there's "riced"
Microsoft never really had decent ways to manipulate the base level aesthetic. Mostly just upper-level stuff.
XP, however, had the ability to do it with .ini files and even could have animated backgrounds. I remember on my parents' old XP, my background was a rotating Tesseract for a while
>pic related

They're still making that? I used it on Windows 2000, holy dicks.

How's the performance?

Holy shit! QUINTS CONFIRMED! WINDOWS 10 A SHIT!!!!

such design
many wow

Du degenerierte manga schwuchtel... Du bist erbärmlich

Looks trash as fuck
This one looks better, wish I could do the task bar like that in win 7, too bad your start button is ugly asf

>gay hats with sex on
lmfao
have a nice day

Sadly, no free tools for that yet.

Unless you would pirate.

Out of tools out there, Stardock software is actually recommended by MS, but I still dont understand, why they wont let people truly customize their desktops.

Probably because large portion of people, for reasons completely unknow for me, dont change anything. And I really mean ANYTHING. Not a single settings, they often even leave default wallpaper. EVEN WALLPAPER.

For hell sake, it is supposed to be your PERSONAL computer. Or they are as bland and "like everyone" that this is truly reflecting their own personality?

>actually recommended by MS,
STAY AWAY FROM IT, PEOPLE

You can customize the UI for free with a UX patcher. Botnet not included.

If MS would recommend you to breathe, would you hold it untill passing out?

After rather unplesant memories of custom themes in XP and how I once screwed something out, I actually would rather trust some company solution, rather than some unknown guys kernel driver.

>Botnet not included

Where do you see "botnet" in Windows Blinds?

>If MS would recommend you to breathe, would you hold it untill passing out?
No because that's something they have no influence of any kind on

That looks fucking disgusting.

They dont have on Stardock software either.

In fact, it was a bit opposite - MS was using Stardock solutions few times.

> Stardock software is actually recommended by MS
Weird, because modification of system files is forbidden by EULA.

For Win 7, it just werks.

Windows Blinds is not free unless you use the pirated botnet version.

Do as your told, not as we do

Yet, when people were asking on MS support site about changing looks of their OS, they got told to use third party programs, with Stardock being recommended (probably because how they used to work together in the past).

== vista -tier performance

Is it 2005 again?

All custom themes looks ghetto.

WINDOWS USERS HAVE TO TRADE US CURRENCY TO CHANGE THEIR DE

Just reinstall Windows 7.

Almost as bad as an average wannabe Windows DE.

More like 2001
Last time I heard about Windowsblind was in those CDs that came with magazines, along with Neoplanet Online and Sonique
Surprised it still exists

Virtual Desktop Girl still exist. Now you can be 12 again.

That looks fucking terrible.
