Is the Eizo Foris worth the moola? Any owners?

Is the Eizo Foris worth the moola? Any owners?

Eizo is a great display maker with top-notch QA, but why freesync? AMD doesn't even have a GPU that can push 1440p at 144hz, unless you're playing cs:go or assfaggots. I'd personally go for the Asus variant of the same panel.

I intend to get a 490 later on.

I have one, and I love it. Got mine day 1, pre-ordered it.

It's more of a CPU than a GPU issue. I got an 5820K OCed and a 290X, and the CPU is my bottleneck almost all the time. DX12/Vulcan should fix that, though.

What games are you playing?

>why freesync
This is one of the few high quality FreeSync options out there. Capitalism means if there is a market void, someone will fill it.

I wanted to buy one, but the price was beyond me. Well reviewed.

FPS, RPGs, Strategy, Sims, bit of everything desu. It's a great allrounder.

I just want a 27" VA 1440p 144Hz freesync monitor for $400.

I would just get the Asus (The Acer has issues with scaling and overdrive on top of blb). But eve nthat can be a lottery. Apparently they all (including Eizo) use the same AUO panels anyhow. Bit of a lottery to be honest.

Why no freesync actually, not enough 4K IPS freesync on the market for my taste

Fuck driving 4K right now. Also only 60Hz for now.

>144 Hz (FreeSync(High): 56 - 144 Hz, FreeSync(Low): 35 - 90 Hz)

Freesync low is exactly the reason to buy this. For resource heavy games the low setting will give you all the adaptive sync benefits, for low resource games like CSGO and OW you use the monitors full potential.

It's the best deal right now, but the money though...

Yes to 4K because TV series, 4K content through fiber connection and yes to Freesync because smooth gameplays on games, and you're not obligated to run games at 4Kyet if you GPU can't handle it.

Get the ASUS VG248QE. It can be found for like 200$ now.

The Asus Freesync is limited to 35-90Hz on a 144Hz display which is shit. The only other IPS is the Acer but I read it has overdrive and scaling issues.

The 1000+€ pricetag is ridiculous, considering the price of the other Freesync (and even the G-Sync) monitors.

Also some people have reported the same panel problems other monitors with the 1440p 144hz IPS panel have. Probably with less frequency, but the fact that you pay this much and are not sure to have an immaculate A+ panel is dumb.

You can have the Lenovo Y27F. Only 1080p, but ticks all the other boxes

Please, you can get monitors without PWM dimming and other features like adaptive sync or proprietary strobing for the same kind of money. Old piece of shit, I'm glad Asus finally pulled the finger out of their ass and started making up to date 24" 1080p 144hz monitors.

I'm not buying an expensive monitor until 4k 144hz 1ms gtg gsync 27".

Fuck curved and ultra-widescreen. Fuck them in the ass! Why don't Benq make a good Freesync 1080 24"??? This fucking sucks.

You'll want the Viewsonic XG2401, it's excellent

Is there a 32in version?

I have one of them and got a FG2421 as well. Both have their upsides, especially since the difference between 120 and 144hz really isnt that noticeable anymore. The IPS panel is good, especially for a gaming monitor, but you could probably find better for less on EIZOs own website.

The biggest problem I have are the bloated features. Shit like social media sharing etc. Apart from that the screen is great however I still prefer my FG2421 because I really, really, really adore proper blacks and the VA panel of the 2421 is so much better at that than the IPS of the 2735. The free sync is meh, but to be quite honest I think that Gsync will die soon anyway and freesync will be the common thing to use. The monitor has a lot of upsides without the freesync, so buying is just for that would probably not do it justice. I still think that its overpriced but that might just be me. Pretty sure you pay at least 250 bucks for the EIZO logo

I was so hype for it until I saw the pricetag.

>2 rx480s stuck onto one board as a "high end gpu"
kek
good luck amdfaggot

Why do people keep saying this, wasn't that just a dumb rumour, there are zero sources that suggest that

Sup Forums suggested it because they are shit stirring assholes. Well mainly Nvidia shilling cunts actually.
