Underrated APUs

Why doesn't logical increments recommend a single APU?

Do they not understand the value of an APUs price point?

Being able to buy both a CPU and a GPU for under $70 is an extraordinary value for those of us who are adults and don't play childish games.

Is everyone at logical increments a child?

They do

apus are shit

if you're not a gamer then an APU offers zero benefit over an intel igpu

To be fair, the APUs they are recommending aren't the best APUs.

The A8-7650K with low-noise stock cooler is good enough for retard builds. Most systems are in idle state 99% of the time anyway.

They are cheaper and more compatible with the occasional game you might play. I don't game much these days but every now and then I find the time and interest to do so. Theres no reason to own a dedicated device for that.

>apus are shit
... for gaming. For everything else, they are a great way to save hundreds of dollars.

name one that is better than the A8-7650K at the same price point

people(kids) want to feel edgy explaining all the different parts in their PC.
cpu+graphic card=engine+carburetor.
apu=engine+fuel injection.

the pc game is filled with nothing but elitist virgins.

that and they all think you need an i7 and a 1080 to play games

>some retard thinks a 1080 is unnecessary for playing Candy Crush

Get a load of this guy

This depends. I'm sensitive as FUCK to intels drivers. I don't know what the fuck it is but about 4-5 years ago intel started doing something with their drivers that gives me brutal headaches. I'm not alone in this either though it's a real small amount of people.

I'm stuck using AMD apu's if I'm using on board because of this.

For most people if they're planning on using onboard graphics I don't think they're going to give much of a shit whether it's AMD or Intel though and their only concern should be "what's better at my price point at this time".

>my pointless hobbies are better than your pointless hobbies!

you can get a pentium G3250 for $32 less

i play games on a $150 dual core 1.8 with intel hd laptop.
imagine a $400 laptop with an APU and twice my ram. 10 times the fucking performance.

because literally nobody, not even cheapass business owners use APUs.

>pentium G3250
That shit is even slower than a i7-4770K. You can't game on Intel igpus.

anything under a8 is absolute shit. They can barely handle youtube hd streaming.

a8s and a10s make sense for fast, cheap builds and also light gaming.

There you go, reccommended.

Now kys

>you can get a pentium G3250 for $32 less

Of course you can. It's an inferior processor
>cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Pentium-G3258-vs-AMD-A8-7650K

You can't game on AMD APUs either, so what's your point?

youtube.com/watch?v=l9cPn-jDjd0

Go ahead and try to get those results in an i7.

/bread

>obviously using dual graphics

It isn't possible to do that without a graphics card.

So lets say i want a machine qhich would be used to youtube and browsjing

What id the cheapest i can get? Apu build? Used laptop?

If you're not a gamer and you're not doing professional graphics or HPC then you have absolutely no use for any more computing power than that

Used apu.
If you like fiddling with stuff, get something with an AMD 5350, it's a fun piece of shit.

Sure, you can get those results if you buy the most expensive APU on the market and put it in a $250 gaming motherboard so that you can overclock your ram to 2400.

But doing that destroys the price point value of an APU. It's silly. If you're going to spend that much money, you should get a CPU and a dedicated graphics card.

>shit APU
>$247 motherboard

u wot m8?

Then why not go with a much cheaper Celeron J1800 build?

don't they overheat while browsing the net?

>shit APU

That isn't a shit APU. It's the best APU on the market.

Nice backpedal bro

Because i5s are way better and do graphics too.

>Texture Quality - Normal
>Shader Quality - Normal
>Shadow Quality - Normal
>Reflection Quality - Normal

yep. Best APU on the market and an extremely overpriced motherboard and it still can't max out graphics.

He probably can max those out when he isn't recording.

Those headaches are caused by your anti-semitism, you Jew hating cunt.

These APUs make no sense, even a low end HD530 they put in the Pentium Skylakes are better than something like a GT730

Sombody tell me a cheap way to max out an a10 5800k? I have 16gb 1866 ram but motherboard is pretty shit.

you're ram speeds are too low. If your motherboard will allow it, go up to 2400.

is that the pentium people where shilling some time ago? I'm actually about to build something for my parents and I'm debating between a pentium or an a4 or a6, does anyone actually if they are decent?
