TIL KDE is still a thing

Currently settled with clearpooks

i3

>clueless moron who can only follow random guides to "rice" his desktop doesn't know that his i3 has nothing to do with the widget toolkit themes like Arc and that GTK programs will use those themes on his i3 as well

Kill yourself.

Kek, I misread 'Arc' as 'Arch'.
Also I don't need a guide to copy-paste a color-scheme into my configs mate.

Wow this looks very good, better than my riced Ubuntu with dark-arch.

Is there a way to get the KDE5 Plasma window theme without installing KDE?

>shameless copying of W10 theme

When is arch getting start tiles? It seems like they just need to fill in that empty area and it'll be a successful rip.

>anything else that's better?
Vertex Dark

Vertex Dark

Same here, friend.

It looks like Windows 10 in absolutely nothing.

KDE 5.0 was released a full year before Windows 10 you dumb frogposter

make your own if it's an issue, it's not very hard mate

Arc is life.

What's the problem, really gotta out-hipster everyone, you fucking autist?

fuck arc looks sex.
might make the final and everlasting jump from win10.

shame about all the app compatibility though.

>app compatibility
What "apps"?

mainly ableton and all my games.
Although i've heard this isn't a massive issue as of late. (due to some software which i can't recall)
Nvidia GPU drivers an issue?
I've been about 90% keen on moving across, just want to be certain i'll have 0 issues with stability and compatibility.

>I've been about 90% keen on moving across, just want to be certain i'll have 0 issues with stability and compatibility.
Then dualboot at first. Nvidia drivers work fine, about as good as you can hope for really.

Everything seems so big wtf

I'd rather not dual boot.
Been running a centos server for awhile, definitely have my head around the OS.

No issues at all playing games? Gaming in a VM with gpu passthrough? What's the go?

>No issues at all playing games?
OpenGL usually runs worse than DX11, so you're sacrificing some performance.
>Gaming in a VM with gpu passthrough? What's the go?
Haven't tried, I just dualboot if I want to play some GTA V or something else that isn't on Linux.

Just looked up some benchmarks, quite a difference.
That might sway me, i'll look into it all abit more, WINE included.

Two reasons

1. It's a low resolution laptop screen

2. I have terrible eyesight (nearly blind) and need things to be large. Fuck me right?

Paper is what I use, it's pretty good.

GNOME + Arc Darker + Paper Icons == Good Combo
