I program on pen and paper then scan it onto my computer using OCR.

...

Usually I have around 20 stackoverflow tabs opened simultaneously with a few quora pages.

I work in VS with the white theme and I write console calculator 24/7

All I know is it's an alt-right meme.

Fuck this cohort

Why is your font not powerline patched?

like?
i installed patched vim

It means the person is Jewish. Used by anti-semites to point out 'strange coincidences'.

I think it came from a browser extension called coincidence detector that surrounded Jew names with parenthesis.

What does this mean?

yeah, let's see yours faggot

I was writing specific hex bytes.
It's cleaner than writing 0, 0, 0, 0, 0...

My programming "setup":

Fedora 24 as the desktop os, I use 3 workspaces.

1.: Clementine, gedit and notepad++(for xmls)

2.: VirtualBox cause I need to run VS Enterprise(god blees private trackers(ncore.cc))

Or Eclipse for Java

3. OOP diagrams

Something along these lines.

what font is that?

Kremlin

It's blurry as shit senpai

How to fix famalam?

This. /Thread

Yes

do you write statistics textbooks for a living?

Maybe. Maybe not. How so?

I use vim setup for python

I write out everything in a UML diagram then auto-generate the code. If it doesnt compile I have a script I got from SO that will auto pull code snippets from SO and randomly insert them brute-force style into the source files until they compile.

I have never written a line of code, so that's nice, but hello-world.cpp took 18 days to be completed and there is 42,000 SLOC. Decent tradeoff

Protip: none of this matters if you don't make money.

I use vim on weekends and wednesdays and use emacs on the other days

>look guys I use vim like the rest of you!
Sick """setup""", senpai.

Just use the glorious KDevelop

Are you retarded

YES THANK YOU NANO IS SO GOOD

Based Notepad++

>42 KLOC
That's nothing for hello world.

I see a vim and a firefox icon. How is that a complete programming setup?

that's a copy pasting session anonberg

looks stupid
maybe if you were actually a programmer you would do that instead of starting a thread on Sup Forums

That's just gvim with the solarized theme.
Get outta here with your sane defaults shit, I can tell you're just using it like notepad.

You don't have to patch with gvim.

Sublime Text is the best editor & Mac Classic is the best color scheme. Had been using it for almost 5 years now.

White color schemes rape my eyes at night. Dark colors are nicer.

Thank god I'm a normal person and sleep when it's night :-)

lol I bet you have a job too

I use intelliJ

been using notepad++ for everything
dual-pane, one's got a bigger font, use that one for reading things

not all of those tabs are programming shit (actually, like 70% of them are plain text instead of code), some of them (like the file being shown in both panes) are just cloned views, although most of them are different files for each pane
some of the tabs haven't been closed in months

shit's comfy

not that guy, but I use 0x00 in spots where a byte is expected (and occasionally, when I'm twiddling bits, 0b00000000 when I expect to change that value later)
sure, I could type 0, but it's just a little reminder that the parameter is supposed to be a byte

although, I probably wouldn't bother there, I'd just put 0s

>html

do html/css people really think they're programmers?

Looks comfy desu. Simple and not cluttered with shit.

literally run this in WINE, such a based text editor

Ebin.

What's the matter? Not 1337 enough for you?

Shit's incredibly useful when you're working with libs you're unfamiliar with. Do you hate being productive? Or maybe you never had to use anything outside of your standard library.

I'm glad someone else caught that/10

(define 'Sup Forums 'faggots)

Very nice

>Do you hate being productive?
Nope, just not retarded.

sounds about right

You didn't configure your airline properly. Those ">"s are supposed to look like part of the UI. Something to do with installing the right fonts iirc.

I just started learning vim.

I'm sorry

stay mad famalam

sexy bb

He must be a paid google shill.

>that formatting style

dein.vim's caching is pretty sweet, got a lot of plugins and startup time is still around 200ms.

b-be gentle

>not using a dark theme
Do you hate your eyes?

Do you hate well-lit rooms?

Based Textmate, works great for everything I do on my own time. I use eclipse at work for java dev.

normally i do use dark themes but idk, it hasnt bothered me. I might look into it soon though.

>not using vim terminal emulator

Almost misread 'neotree' as netorare.
I need a normal sex.

>he thinks people use dark themes to "protect their eyes"
The only reason to use a dark theme is to look edgy. How else will everyone know you're a haxx0r???

>general

When will this meme end

>not using vim inside neovim's terminal emulator inside neovim's terminal emulator inside neovim's terminal emulator

Vim is too hard to lean. Is there good easy to learn documentation that anyone can help me find pls

Print a cheatsheet off Google and do some programming exercises with it.

openvim.com/

Wow thank you. If I could upvote you I totally would!

>Vim is too hard to lean.
No it's not. You just have to practice/use it a lot and memorize the keyboard commands. There are more challenging things you could do in life.

Dumb frogposter.

>html

>two p tags in a single line tag
What the fuck Is this?

Meant tag not line

no you're just a bad programmer.

{0,0,0,0,0,0} is technically correct, but "0x" signals to the programmer reading your code that we're definitely working directly with bytes.
