It went on a decent flash sale a while ago for £50, which I got down to £35 with good boy points. I appreciate that it's a big step in price from the usual /csg/ meme quads but it's a big jump in quality too.
However, the camera supplied with it is utter wank because it randomly fails to save recordings and is pointed down at about a 30 degree angle making it useless for trying to fly FPV. You'd be better off getting the camera-less version and attaching a lightweight keychain camera to it.

Is the Motospeed Inflictor CK104 okay for just typical pc use? Not much of a gamer and never used a mechanical keyboard before, coming from a SteelSeries Apex Raw.
It's tiny! It almost feels like something you'd put on a keychain. The package also includes a small wrist strap thing, and an adorable little 3cm mUSB cable. The face buttons and d-pad feel really nice, about on the level of a DS Lite (and similar in size.) The shoulder buttons and start/select are clicky buttons, but I don't mind that. It took a while to charge completely, but that might just be a first-use thing. I've used it for several hours now with no problems, and it seems like it should last quite a long time based on my experiences with bluetooth keyboards. It has 6 different connection modes, which are a bit confusing. You turn the controller on by holding start for 2 seconds, and the modes are selected by holding down various buttons while turning it on. The "default" mode (no extra buttons held down) works with Android and (apparently) Windows. I've only tested it on Android and OS X so far. It's very easy to use with Android - no configuration necessary with Retroarch and probably many other apps. It pairs and reconnects quickly, too. My only issue with its Android compatibility is that my phone seems to think it's a keyboard, and disables the onscreen keyboard whenever the controller is connected. Fortunately, I can just quickly turn the controller off (and back on) when I need to type. On OS X, it behaves somewhat oddly. As expected, it pretends to be a bluetooth keyboard, but instead of mapping to the arrow keys or something sane like that, the buttons map to the letters A-L. It's not a big problem, but it required a lot more configuration for each emulator/game I wanted to use it with. Also, I had to unpair it from my phone to get it to pair properly with my mac, even though it uses a different mode. Overall, I think this controller has the best user experience if you use it exclusively with a phone.

Glueing the Sim card onto the SD totally works, just use a heatgun and take a picture before for the orientation.

Already done. I'm using the transmitter for a Tarantula X6 because you can get much deeper pitch and roll with it. The quad itself is too light and underpowered for a proper action cam so I'm currently waiting on a keychain camera which I plan on attaching to the quad with rubber bands and vibration foam.
