See you next year, OP
Can't you guys printscreen on the darkside?
is how you prove it's not shooped
thanks for playing "Am I Smart?"
I ran Funtoo for about a year and a half. It's a great system, but binary packaging is a lot more convienent.
memetoo.
>i5-2520M
Have fun. I give you week before you switch back to binary based.
Not from tty
Arch nemesis always try and make Gentoomen look incompetent.
>not latest kernel
>bash as shell
literally lmaoing @ your life
doesnt funtoo have a binary package manager
What made you choose Funtoo over Gentoo?
Eh. On gentoo/funtoo you can get binaries of big packages like libreoffice/firefox/chromium/DEs (these are what take up the most time.)
Other packages don't take long at all desu even with a shit processor.
GIT
install gentoo
Funtoo is for all intents and purposes, Gentoo
why can you always tell what distro these types of posters use?
t. Arch cuck
... what the fuck does that prove? He could just display the image and take a photograph of the monitor.
Exactly. What the fuck?
So this... Is the power of gentoo
realistically he doesn't know of the existence of fbgrab or similar tools
I thought u were using funtoo not gentoo
Also only a faggot installs from a tty
Any time I install *ntoo I just boot off an Ubanto LiveCD and jack off to porn and desktop threads while it builds. That, or if I am dual booting I just install it from inside a VM with raw disk access
I haven't even installed a wm, what do you propose I ssh into it?
No, faggot. You should have booted off the Ubuntu CD in the first place and installed it from there.
I used a live rescue CD and installed from there, buddy. I'm playing vidya while installing. Calm down
You do know that it's much faster to update and run once everything's been compiled, right?
And by the way. What CPU do you have??
i7 4770 on desktop
i7 6700HQ on laptop
Damn I'm kinda jealous. Finally at 164 of 198 packages. I installed a complete XFCE desktop so that's probably why there's so many
Make sure to use USE flags right. If you don't have a printer, USE=-cups, if you want freedom from freedesktop.org and lennart, USE=-polkit -consolekit -dbus -udisks -upower -udisks2 -dconf -gconf -kde -gnome -avahi -systemd -pulseaudio
So many USE flags is very overwhelming. Not sure if I'm ready for Gentoo
Add them gradually over time.
Do you consult the gentoo wiki whenever you install a new package so you can see the recommended USE flags?
>not enabling all the use flags
It's more fun
how many shitty threads are you going to make retard
systemd is disabled by default
