Other than that, I'd say it's light , powerful enough and if you get the 1080 one it has a really good battery

I have a 4K laptop that I use for work, it's really not worth it, battery drain and readability ruin it

4k and trying to read code on a 15 inch monitor do not mix user

Nah, I've personally done it. If you're careful nothing serious will happen.

It feels kinda good and pissing once takes care of it.

Personally the only real selling point to me of the current XPS series is the sexy slim bezel.
Once other brands finally catch onto this, I'd just get something else.
Keyboard is meh, overall build quality is above average but nothing special.

I'll leave the 4k for my desktop, but laptops are for portability - and battery life is a huge factor.

this is fine, but i feel the benefits of having a 4k screen on a laptop is kinda missing the point. the battery usage difference is huge, and i dont know about you but i have never used a laptop and not wanted more battery life.

I have a Dell Inspiron 4k laptop with an AMD 270m R7. It can play Sins of a Solar Empire and Stellaris at 4k resolution 20 fps.
