Better question might be this;
When will AMD make actually good card?
When will AMD stop disappointing?
how much will this cost?? $50??
The NDA will probably be lifted around 13:00 GMT like with other AMD releases.
It all depends on the price, we know it will be a low power good enough 1080p GPU.
I doubt that any cards will actually be in stock with retailers as seen with the rest of Polaris.
At most there will be 10 cards with the biggest retailer which are sold out after 2 minutes so AMD can say this wasn't a paperlaunch.
Nobody knows, there's just speculation on a MSRP around 100$ but we saw how that turned with the RX 470.
>cool and efficient
I don't trust amd for good termals.
Did you fucking take that picture with your potato phone?
>image.jpg
Fucking mobilefags
RIGHT NOW
It's 99 burger bucks according to Phoronix
So 7850 level performance?
This means 150€ and that for GTX 750Ti tier performance in 2016.
No, he took it from google, but the person who took the picture did it with a brick Nokia.
>but m-my DX12 performance, r-right n-nvidiots?
>gets beaten by and old ass 950 in dx12
DELETE THIS
benches show that it's a good bit faster than the 750 ti, it still chokes when compared to 950 though
No,the prices seem to be the same for a change,130€ for the aftermarket sapphire,Im guessing that the reference should go around 110€ mark.
hexus.net
Benchmarks show that it beast the 950 OC in almost all dx12 titles by a good margin but nice try shill.
these benches are done with OCed cards that have a 6 pin added to them, apples to apples a 460 is only a few % faster than a 750ti.
OCed the 460 beats the 950 in most games,on its own it still gets 10 more fps(47 vs 38) in demanding games like fallout 4 than the 750ti
>a 460 is only a few % faster than a 750ti.
That's fucking pathetic. You'd expect the 460 to at least match the older 270/370 and the 950. Why would I not buy a 950 that's on sale for the same price right now? They use roughly the same amount of power anyway.
>on its own it still gets 10 more fps(47 vs 38) in demanding games like fallout 4 than the 750ti
that's with an OCed AIB model. the reference 460 is close to ~20% slower because it has a 100mhz core clock and throttles aggressively.
This card suffers the same problems as other Polaris models: they're priced way too high. RX460 2GB is objectively bad, but the 4GB version is better than the GTX 950, sometimes even trades blows with GTX 960 (as seen here: guru3d.com
>4 gb
>oc'd aftermarket
>costs more than 950
>hexus
Heh, nice try ayyymd marketing.
From which review did you get that?I haven't seen any use the reference model, but in any case I doubt that that the reference is that much slower and you can still OC it.
...
We have it here in Romania. It should be around 150 burgerbucks

Why does AMD even make GPUs still? They're finished, they fuck up on the high and low end.
RX480 would be the card to buy for a machine that isn't shit and run run everything 1080p with no problems if the prices weren't inflated to oblivion. Same thing goes with the 1060, they're both great cards.
THIS DESU SENPAI
The problem is, Nvidia WILL sell cards. Even if they drop from 82% to 75% market, that's still A HUGE gap between them and AMD.
Meanwhile, AMD has a lot to make up for. And instead of releasing a card that is either:
>Look, it's gtx1060 performance for half the price
>Look it's 150% gtx1060 performance for the same price!
Nobody that was buying Nvidia before would switch to AMD now. Why would you, if it's basically the same card, roughly same price, but from a company you have no exp with?
hardocp.com
>In the simplest terms AMD has created a product that runs hotter and slower than its competition's new architecture by a potentially significant margin.
Kyle was right all along
>priced the same as 750ti
>performs similar to 750ti
>OMG IT'S WORSE THAN MY TITAN X PASCAL
Sup Forums just keeps getting worse everyday
>>priced the same as 750ti
>>performs similar to 750ti
Then why would you not buy a 750 Ti instead of the RX 460? Or a 950 which has been cut down to $120?

>buying a three year old card
750Ti is discontinued and on legacy support
950 could be pricier, and on legacy support too, with probably a higher energy consumption
>750Ti is discontinued and on legacy support
So you're telling me AMD greatest hit for mid end is something on the level of discontinued and legacy supported old ass Nvidia card?
>950 could be pricier, and on legacy support too, with probably a higher energy consumption
The problem is, I don't know about burgerland, but here in yurop, assuming msrp prices for amd(yeah, right) the flip-flop-top-of-the-line-gaymur-oc-aftermarket 950 is $4 more expensive than 460. So yeah.
they say 100$, we all know its gonna be 150+
950 is still way more power efficient than a 460. just get a 950 or get a 750 ti if you can still find one. they're kinda rare now though unless you buy used.
It's already out you dumbass.
It was already released.
I got my Sapphire Nitro one
i paid almost 200$ for this because i wanted 1 day rushed shipping, and its one of the nicer cards
i was hoping the stock ones would be released because i really like the AMD stock cooler but the sapphire one is just too pretty
>$200
>for 750ti performance
Please be troll (or from Venezuela)
i already have a 750ti, im one of those assholes who buys something just because they really want it
also the one i got is a bit above 750ti performance, as its mildly OC'd (and requires 6 pin power >:l )
Normally its only 140$, which is 20$ more than a decent 750ti, and the Rx460 has double the vram at a higher clock speed.
>i paid almost 200$ for this
user what the fuck are you doing.
that is so efficient it can feed from PCI-X power alone and actually has drivers
Being impatient
Shipping was nearly 50$
>double the VRAM
>on 750ti performance
Literally the only time you will ever fill that VRAM and not bring the GPU to its knees is TES : Oblivion with mods. Skyrim fully modded would murder the GPU before you even hit 3GB VRAM.
Well all in all thats not a bad deal.
The Sapphire 460 OCed beats the 950 in most dx11 games, and already beats it in almost all dx12 games.
Assuming that your a poorfag, which is the only reason that you would even consider buying either, the 460 is going to last you a whole lot longer than the 950,so all in all although its the same price you get a much better deal.
Hey its only pulling pci-e power with half the memory specs and no compute units
There is no way AMD can have it running hot
NO
WAY
looks pretty cute.. I wonder whether playng video games would be worth the money in a years time. Currently the fruits are not bearing.. and I'd definitely be interested in downsizing.
>it took AMD 2 years to catch up with Maxwell
this is a shittier 750ti, rx480 is just a shittier gtx 970. What's even worse is that it offers no advantage, even in price.
With the speed of how our technology advances, this is pretty fucking awful.
I really thought this would be the card I was going to buy.
I'm looking for a low profile card, is the 750 ti still really the best bet?
man, you could've bought a 380x for that much, which is way better
you can get a low profile gtx 1060, my man.
seems to be available in germany
wait for the 1050ti. It will probably be around GTX970 performance
Thanks fellas
When will you stop shilling panjeet?
$100
newfag out
>.pl
find me something thats isnt from a 3rd world country
>shit thats never happening
750 ti's can still be bought new in Canuckistan. I got one that requires 6-pin power, but it still isn't getting me any better results than average on userbenchmark. Guess I'd have to manually OC it.
It beats the 750 ti by 20-25% in every category and is already cheaper here in Canada.
THE PROBLEM IS...It's not $99.
The problem is...That kawaii itx RX460 isn't available anywhere for $99.
I'm disappointed.
a fool and his money are easily parted
You could get a stock 480 4GB for around the same price. I hope you know that.
