Top kek.

AMD can't win at anything.

What about Doom?

nice photoshop job bro

Isn't AMDs target demographic poor people?

Why would anyone choose an AMD processor over an Intel processor, which consistently has a better price/performance ratio?

Why would anyone choose an AMD GPU over an Nvidia GPU, the Nvidia GPU is always a better deal, except with a higher upfront cost?

Doom is the only one of the 4 Vulkan games where AMD has an edge.

source?

here you go, pal

(You)

Both statements wrong. Fuck off shill

DOOM uses shader intrinsic funcs. No other Vulkan game does.

Basically DOOM uses this:

Why the fuck are game developers not taking advantage of this? Are AMD and Nvidia to blame for this or is it lazy developers.

i doubt AMD is to blame seeing as they benefit greatly

>AMD can't win at anything.
They can win at not overjewing the shit out of their prices which is why I'm disappointed that the RX 480 was more than a mediocre meme card so that NV would get their shit slapped and stop pricing like their GPUs are made of gold.

nvidia has much larger marketshare so it makes sense devs not spending time including features only AMD supports.

for the people wanting the sauce on the benchmarks

Depends on implementation of each devs.

If they're competent they can make lot of improvements. If they're not, then there's negative performances.

If they're "neutral", then both sides gain bits of each, at the sacrifice of one vendor gaining huge advantages and other losing huge.

Dota2 implementation is more like the TimeSpy neutral implementation where both sides are allowed to gain. This is nVidia's best time to shine. Where on AMD, the implementation is mediocre gain.

Because GameWORKS!!!

So you mean it's the one game where Vulkan is implemented correctly then?

Because it gives the best performance across both brands.

So it's some beta benchmark and the 480 took the win the majority of the tests.

Fuck you OP for making me watch that shit.

But the consoles use AMD, so it's actually the other way around...

tl;dr

Too much work.

Nvidia previewed DOOM running on Vulkan before it was even released. They care, they care a lot.

that pic only proves that the 1060 beats the RX480, which we already knew.

AMD actually is better at Vulkan if you compare hardware with the same performance (which we cannot do until the RX490 happens)

I strongly advice you to delete this thread. We have enough GPU bullshit on Sup Forums as it is.
