An i7 is bullshit for gaming

>an i7 is bullshit for gaming
>ram speed doesn't matter

Why does literally everything Sup Forums say turn out to be horseshit?

Sup Forums is children with no formal education in computing

>137 vs 148
Oh noes!

>only looks at average framerates
Typical moron

Sup Forums cannot be trusted.
Don't believe his lies.

>thinks single minimum is meaningful.
Yeah, that stutter to 1FPS as I start the game really impacts the next 4 hours of solid framerates.

That's the lowest recorded framerate, retard

tl;dr: lowest framerates are significantly higher on i7 cpu's compared to i5 cpu's. That means that framedips are much less noticable and you have a smoother gaming experience.

I understand you are mad because you got cucked with your i5 though

YEAH THAT STUTTER TO 1FPS AS I START THE GAME REALLY IMPACTS THE NEXT 4 HOURS OF SOLID FRAMERATES

Does this look like the start of the game to you? You fucking idiot.

Watch the video and realize what a mouthbreathing tard you are

>literally too stupid to know the meaninglessness of a single minimum

See
Idiot

>literally too stupid to know the meaninglessness of a single minimum

And another to show that is not a single minimum, and that it is not the start of the game.

I'll be waiting for your next bullshit argument

>literally too stupid to know the meaninglessness of a single minimum

You're done

>literally too stupid to know the meaninglessness of a single minimum

>taking any """""advice""""" you see on here seriously

Most of what Sup Forums says stems from people trying to justify their own purchases, or their lack of purchases.

By pretending stuff doesn't impact anything they can feel better about running outdated crap

Is right, you know.

t. namefag

What's that t. mean exactly?
I see it used in the context of it meaning quote: but idk

yeah pretty much

well no shit a weaker CPU is going to drive weaker FPS what's your point?

Programming paradigms have finally caught up to design paradigms from 8 years ago.

>i7 doesnt matter
>ram speed doesnt matter
Applied perfectly up until the end of '15

That is all.

>Paying an extra 200+ dollars for less than 10 fps.
Really not worth getting an i7 unless you have the money and really want to bust out the extra frames. Especially considering how far the 2500's lifespan has lasted

I hope they were recording this on a passthrough instead of on the PC itself.

>oh no! the game runs slower on a computer with less threads thats also recording and encoding video

That's a shifty cost to performance increase tho. You'd be better off dropping the extra shekels on a 1080.

Honestly everything memed by g (zenfone, rx480, zeronet etc) turns out to be shit and every information puked constantly are false and retarded, i wouldnt trust anything coming from g

...

>CPU and RAM intensive games
If that's all you're going to play, the more power to you. But a very few number of titles depend so heavily on cache size or memory bandwidth like Fallout 4 and Crysis 3.

You're right in a certain sense, but you don't actually know how they're benchmarking. Eliminating stutter right after loading is pretty easy, just use the FPS data starting a few seconds into the benchmark run. They should be displaying/measuring 99th percentile FPS or frame time rather than min FPS though, but having a minimum over 60 is still pretty much certain to not cause any sort of stutter.

The minimum is also obviously affected by RAM settings and CPU, as is the actual average, as such there is no logical reason to assume that 99th percentile FPS doesn't suffer as well.

Sup Forums also shills the fuck out of AMD and Linux
theyre never to be trusted
