Updates: - Title bars now have an icon and a title - As suggested all fonts are now 11px ms sans serif like in Windows 95 - Minor fixes
Todo: - Style things in the "desktop" area
Instructions: - I've only tested this on vanilla Sup Forums. For better results make sure you have the Microsoft Sans Serif font available (included in most windows versions, or get it from here: fontzone.net/download/microsoft-sans-serif) - For even better results disable cleartype or any other font antialiasing you have
I suggest you add this: filter: url("data:image/svg+xml,#filters") !important; }
It reduces colors on images, making them more win95-style.

I agree with . I also hope you integrate the thread watcher as well and possibly persistent navigation bar.

Hey OP, maybe add a README to the repo and mention that it's installed via Sup Forums X. Maybe some screenshots if you aren't too lazy. The easier it is to understand & use, the more people will use it. Also more coverage for Sup Forums X :^)

>3 Separate CSS files

2 seperate css files
(one is with embdedded font, don't think it works)
i'll do that
go to settings > miscellaneous >custom css > edit > paste the code from the file 4chan95.css
do the same for the catalog page using the catalog.css file

Works with dollchan, though buttons are fucked up.

Updated to have Icons for Filtered and Hidden threads. Here are the 3 versions that I've done.
I'll post the version that gets the most replies. Suggestions are welcome.

Aren't those your system wide buttons?

So... What's up with the bright blue/teal color of links? Is it an OS thing, or can it be fixed in the CSS? I think it isn't distinguished enough. Pic related.
Grayson Gonzalez
archive icon doesn't really fit, looks too modern.
Something similar to this would be better imo

I love this man, get excited every time I see there is a update to it.
This has inspired me to make a custom CSS Let us all remember the day OP was not a fag!

serious question user why are you using gitlab?
Jordan Ramirez
I've got some options. Which ones then?

1. is the windows me icon, it was the first edition of windows to include integrated "zip folder" support
before that point, winzip probably had the most recognizable zip icon (version 6 being around windows 95)
Dominic Moore
-- i've taken the liberty of downloading winzip 6.0 and extracting it's icon (full size and tray/title size)
I paste both files into my custom CSS box on 4chanx, when I put the normal thread viewer it works fine, but when I put in the catalog viewer it not only breaks the thread viewer but I don't think the catalog even changes appearance at all. Anyone know a fix?
Josiah Rivera
This is pretty cool
i never went beyond this in my tribute to 95

Anyone who wants Terry Davis, add this to the beginning of the CSS.
>Terry A. Davis on Win95 >Not making a TempleOS CSS to fit the theme

Just came back. Thanks, I know you mean well, but it is unnecessary. I collect various icons, so I already have it. That's how I grabbed the 4 icons out of my collections.

Version 3 with ye olde Winzip 6.0 Icon for Archive.
