I've been looking for books to start coding with, thanks user
>coding
Land of Lisp was so boss.
>babby my first programming books
Where is TAOCP and other actual programming books?
XDDDDDDDDDD
LOL THAT MEME!! SO NICE :DDD
>actual programming books
lol, faggit.
You know TOR exists for a reason, right?
Get
Oh look, a programming babby that needs a book to learn how to do basic Python shit.
lol no, I don't. I just google on TOR for what I need lol! easy. no books needed.
Did you just find out what TOR is and want to flaunt it around?
No, faggot. I use it to hack stoopid windows babbies like you
> reading a programming book is bad
how's that fizzbuzz going?
/thread
breddy gewd
Calling programming "coding" is like calling writing "wording"
Most of these books are available for free under a Creative Commons license or can be torrented/found elsewhere for free.
Good find, though, for people who like to pay for stuff.
I like how you worded that.
>calling homosexuals 'gay' is like calling black poeple 'nigger'
Cooking = fooding.
Kek
You could say, "I like how you coded that."
In my opinion, all the same rules should apply.
I never knew so many people cared what you called it.
Is it just the autism levels here? Or has no one corrected me in public despite secretly hating me for saying "coding"?
>Is it just the autism levels here?
Yes. But it's still reasonably common.
STOP!
I CALL CYBERPOLICE NOW
What? TOR as in The Onion Router? How does that help you pirate things?
You just put google and then go online
What's the point? I pay for my programming books, but I get them in hard copy. If I have to boot shit up to read about something, I might as well read the docs / man pages
> just put in google
Ever wondered why the TOR browser has a non-google default search?
>boot up
>ebook reader
>ever
top jej
but to be serious:
Lecture like programming books or shit like that where you sometimes have to go back and forth in it I rather buy as a hardcopy too.
To read 'normal' books I prefer muh kindle
Basically, you route onions to various fast food chains on the down-low, and because that is the primary source of nutrition for copyright lawyers, the inevitable investigation into the mystery food distracts them enough that you can pirate as you like.
It's amazing that you didn't know this already...
I'm really happy with this answer. I'd give you a +1, but I'm afraid I don't have enough reputation.
No, why?
I think google is the best though. It is nice. When you log in with you're gmail it is even better!
naise meem
I agree user. I also read nomal books on whatever's available. The autism hits me however when I'm reading a programming book (pdf, epub, etc.) on a computer screen, so buying an ebook is of not much use to me if I'm gonna go out and try to fucking print it anyway
Normies don't give a shit, but to someone who programs professionally it might bother them a little.
It personally peeves a little bit, not that I would ever correct anyone saying it
>I just programmed the clock on coffee maker
>I just programmed my VCR to record every TMZ Live broadcast
>I just programmed my sprinklers to go off at 9pm
>>>/autism/
Thanks. Hopefully I'll have a look through them. Might learn something.
>I just set the clock
>I just set my VCR
>I just set my sprinklers
this just redirects to
>2016
>paying for books
Here you go.
Now you can erase that crap from your computer.
It's elementary my dear wOPtson
Dubs is right
There are all kinds of free programming sites.
Which of these are worth downloading for free?
shut the fuck up
>not calling wirting "wordsmithing"
Learn You A Haskell for Great Good! is fairly good.
Also you kids need to lurk moar.
>not calling sex 'fucksmithing'
>They raised the minimum to $1 so I can't get loads of books for 1 cent anymore
Fucking Jews
sounds reasonable.
you program as computer. you don't code a computer.
what the fuck do you spend your money on?
