Shitposting laptop

I'm looking for a everyday shitposting, watching Netflix, browsing laptop: it has to be cheap, thin, small, soooo lightweight and need to be Linux/GNU user friendly.

I know Sup Forums loves thinkpads (I do myself) but I'm looking for something diffrent.

x200s

A chromebook that can dualboot Linux.

Why not a thinkpad?
But in all honesty pick up a shittop from a pawn shop. Look up the wifi card and see if it works.

too heavy

any models ?

because I owned a thinkpad once, want to change
I rather know what I'm buying

Why dont you buy a tablet

>any models ?
I don't know nigger, just make sure it isn't a Rockchip or any other ARM-based CPU since x86 Linux can't run on it.

fuck tablets

Gnu Linux and Netflix....

No gracias mediocre

what do you mean, Linux can't handle netflix ?

>Literally does everything you asked in your OP but costs much cheaper and more portable

>But muh keyboard

plays best on alienware

I hate touchscreen

nice try, you troll

> (You)
>what do you mean, Linux can't handle netflix ?

MacBook air

This

the man said cheap

I don't know about getting netflix to run smoothly, but I am using an old asus eee pc that I got about for about $20 on ebay. Debian with LXDE runs pretty smoothly and it works wonderfully for comfy shitposting and watching youtube.

Netbook was and still is the comfy master race

What

Yo get a Toshiba click mini, another user talked about it once and it really has every feature you want while being really slim and having great battery life. Check it out

Xiaomi Air

the asus x205ta doesn't run Linux well

>Toshiba click mini

the screen is too small

You never said anything about the screen size, but it is thin, lightweight, SMALL (you want small, I offered you small, you don't want small wtf) and is pretty cheap(you can't get a better one for the price)

8.9" screen shouldn't exist

buummmmpp

as I'm concerned you should buy a asus x205TA

>what ?
>just answer the question, try to do something useful in your pathetic life
but still you want a shitposting laptop

China

who said that shitposting is pathetic ?

what ?

Xiaomi maybe

is it cheap ?

Yes, some guy was talking about $500 for macbook pro specs. Maybe chromebook, good Linux support. I think there's good info in the /csg/ op.

ok, I'll look at it, thx

bump

It doesn't have driver support. It's a 32 bit processor and uefi. Ubuntu didn't even support 32bit uefi for the longest time, but they do now and there is no driver suppot.

and for other linux flavors ?

pumb

nice

>stallman
literally who?
why should i care what this autistic fat neckbard has to say about anything?

'cause he s tallman

thinkpad x220

no thinkpad

Alienware

An X220 is pretty much the only thing out there fitting all those requirements, especially in regards to Linux support. Sup Forums doesn't shill Thinkpads without a reason.

a bit too heavy ?
