Not bad!
Is Arch even light enough to be worth it though?

Kill you'reself

wtf this post is filtered too!

it's not really an achievement 'cause your computer a shit anyways, only 700MB ram. Your multitasking ends at 2 tabs in chromium.

>protip you cant
and even then you fail.

>and even then you fail.
The fuck are you on about?

Gib wallpaper dess dess

It's too big to upload, reverse image search it

>classic IBM hardware running a modern OS

>enough RAM for 5 trap threads at a time

>"shit"

Arch compiles its packages against every dependency the devs build in.

On a package-to-package basis, an ubuntu install will use less memory. The difference is Arch's minimalism philosophy means it only gives you the core packages at install, hence the meme that Arch is lightweight; simple would be a better word.

Gentoo is capable of being much more lightweight than Arch because dependencies are handled by the user, so you dont have to compile support for ridiculous features you will never use when you build your packages.

Thank you kind user

mobo why do you delete your posts on /trash/?

are you embarrassed to talk to us?

>wasting hours debloating ubuntu just to start a shitty thread on Sup Forums

My Windows XP hovers at 75MB and it's still more useful than your Ubuntu.

What? i got my first computer 10 years after that, and its monitor had a lower resolution (1024*768)
These computers must have been amazing at that time

...

Since we're on the topic of lightness

How light is a Ubuntu minimal installation in comparison to something like arch with a wm

How much stuff comes with Ubuntu minimal

What chromebook is that?

...

Cute wallpaper, you got a high res version?

(i've been asked a few times before)

>He buys ram to not use it
Why the need to always keep it low?

How do I into that aesthetics?

...

I use fluxbox. Pretty sure it's lighter

install i3-gaps, get a nice color scheme (obviously set everything to that color scheme), get a tiling pattern that fits your scheme as background. Programs included in that screen are firefox, weechat, ranger, cava, ncmpcpp

Can you share the wallpaper?

bump
interesting question

>Your PC will never look this good

Why even live

It's not difficult, you just have to invest some time in it.
Also if you want to know something specific I'll be here and answer questions.
