Better performance, better battery life, better screen, stylus.

Better camera with RAW capture and manual controls
Amazing audio hardware on-par with Mid-range audiophile DAPs

I love and hate this phone at the same time...

>OnePlus One
>Moto X 2014
>Feel in hand
>Dat customized look
>Spinned really well on flat surfaces
>Really slick software experience
>Being able to yell "OK MOTO, WHERE ARE YOU" to find my phone
>Easy one-handed usage, lightweight

What do I do if I want a current gen version of this phone? Only reason I changed was because my Moto X fell and the screen was basically a spiderweb.

Those were all things I missed about my Moto X btw... Opo has better battery life and screen and the sandpaper is pretty nice I guess.

They are pretty similar, actually. Both are chink stuff, though the Redmi looks and feels more robust and modern.

Only think I miss from the Jiayu is the camera. Everything else works better in the Xiaomi. Stuff like GPS or Bluetooth was completely unusable in the Jiayu (thank you, Mediatek chipset)

The fingerprint scanner works so much better than a button and a swipe - I also love how it's sending it to NSA/Google :)

the on screen keyboard and word predictions are better on android in general, i think. the fucking iphone keyboard is terrible and its guesses at what you are typing are useless. i hate typing on tiny screens anyway so this is annoying.

It was tiny. I sort of miss that sometimes. Also, custom rom compatability was way better.

Every button in the same place on the back of the phone (where they goddamn well belong). Smart Lock. Jafar-levels of power.
