Snakes

How do you uploas a picture if you only have doves to communicate with us?

With doves

Norway. This is what I have to deal with. My family rents the 2nd floor of a house in Norway and they have this 4g router connection in the house.

Now, I don't know what this is, but the connection should be able to support up to 50Mbit/s. I know this because I brought the router to work once and speedtest showed a 10x increase in the download speed. Absolutely insane how they are paying about $90 for a service which delivers about 1/10th of the usual amount. I'm saying usual, because the agreement probably doesn't promise a concrete connection speed, so I can't hold them accountable for the terrible reception in this area. Literally the whole mountain has about 4-8Mbit/s while a 10km drive west towards Oslo suddenly gives an a giant boost in the speed up to 10x.

Absolute dogshit. Why is it that Norway tries to follow the USA model of getting fucked by the ISP? Makes no sense, yet here I am.

Best part is, the landlady refuses to share her internet because she thinks we'd hog it all, fucking cunt. Can't put a seperate cable in since there's a limit of 1 per household.

Can anyone from Netherlands recommend me some good starter pack for internet for someone who just moved in for studies here? The room where I moved in has no internet and prepaid cards are fucking expensive.

fast.com is netflix propaganda

Usually around this, about 20Mbps. Not bad to say I'm in the back-end of nowhere. The nearest fibre cabinet is almost a mile away, and that connects to an exchange another two miles away.

Long story, but essentially I get accommodation as part of my job, and so it doesn't cost me anything.

If I were paying for it, a good 7. Seeing as how I'm getting it for free, and it's fast enough to stream 4K Netflix, a solid 10.

Canadian internet is really a joke right now. I'm not in Alberta or some rural town, I'm 25 minutes from downtown Toronto.

You would think that means the infrastructure can support better speeds.

Zahlst du Regio? Wenn nein, kann es sein dass sie dich über eine kackleitung gelegt haben und du über Telekom besser dran wärst.

Nothing because it's the fastest crap in residential internet in San Diego. AT&T is worse. We need Google Fiber to make Cox stop milking the area and actually improve the whole city to have Gig internet.
