Currently under reconsideration as new leaf pic just came out today and I haven't really tried it much yet, but either that or pictures depending on your personal preference

For starters, you shouldn't be using the GooglePlay Store.

Install a custom rom without Google Services (no gapps) and install F-Droid for downloading and maintaining software.
