How to make wingdong 10 as less botnet as possible?

Use it behind a router wich filter all bad domains to 127.0.0.1.

delete system32

Just switch to GNU/+Linux already.

Dumb frog poster.

For fuck's sake I'm a GNU/+Linux user for almost 2 decades. There is just ONE FREAKING THING that doesn't work on VMs/Wine.
They add more. They always do.
Turns itself on again.

I bet it won't if you delete the services.

You think so?

You literally can't. Embrace the botnet already.

I don't see anything in the issues.

what kind of data is m$ collecting?

>There is just ONE FREAKING THING that doesn't work on VMs/Wine

Have you tried windows 10 in a vm. I've got windows 7 in a vm and I turned off the public network settings. I imagine you could do the same with windows 10. You could register it by phone just to keep it off line completely. Don't give up.

Get out of my board pls. thx tkoys

Yes. The damn thing recognizes the VM and refuses to work properly. Will keep it in a external HDD and turn off my own SATA drive with Linux when booting wingdong bullshit.

Use whitelist on your router.
Whitelist only your ssh-server IP and DNS.
Then do ssh-tuneling to gain your own SOCKS5 proxy.
"ssh -D 1024 user@server"

From now any executables that need internet access should use this proxy:
SOCKS5
hostname: localhost
port: 1024

Please don't forget to turn off Teredo, it's MS firewall piercing mechanism built-in.

just use it completely offline

???

apt-get install linux

bretty good taste in anime for a 14 year old

App needs networking

Just switch to an earlier version of Windows, fag.

why is win10 so bad?
what kind of data re they collecting?

if it was true then they would not get away with this

>be in hick town with satellite internet
>Install Windows 10 from disc
>suddenly I have to pay overcharges from data

What the fuck, Sup Forums? I never went over my data cap before, and somehow my bandwidth meter didn't detect it. It still says I'm under 10GB but I have to pay like $20 extra this month for data I shouldn't have used.

The bad things you can readily experience is:
1) Little control over updates
2) apps run in the background, which leeches performance
3) takes a long time to launch applications
4) it is built to punish user's measures to suppress telemetry - it become less useful as you disable parts of the spying
5) can't easily remove apps
6) you are forced to pick the lesser of the evils when it comes to the degree spying - you can't completely turn it off
7) unnecessary settings menus

I don't know what is going on under the hood but I think the botnet meme is true.

All the time I could have wasted toying with Windows 10 was well spent making my new OS comfy.

Install LTSB nigger

does your bandwidth meter count /upload/?
and what is this meter? if it's windows software, then it won't have been running during setup

It does. I rarely use my upload at all, usually stay under 5GB. My bandwidth meter reported around that much but since W10, I need to pay an extra few GB of overcharges

The beauty is that the bandwidth consumed by updates doesn't show up on my bandwidth meter OR the built in windows resource monitor.

Great isn't it? I can download 400mb worth of updates and never see connection usage jump above 20kb/s but files are being extracted left right and center on my disk.

OR, buy a ThinkPad™ without camera and microphone like I did.

It's definitely not from updates, I disabled windows updates this month because I didn't really want to take from another month until the last few days, then I'll use my spare bandwidth to update.

My bandwidth meter usually does catch the updates, as I was able to stay within limits last month. But when I got the bill, it said I went over by 3GB. It's fucking weird, and I never had this problem with Windows 7.

I've seen the behaviour in windows 7 too. What I was trying to say is that if they can hide updates from that then god knows what else is being sent/received in the background.

Also make sure you check your update settings, most windows 10 editions share updates with other clients by default ie your machine uploads already downloaded updates to other peoples machines.

xDDDDDDDD

simply epic you fucking namefag piece of shit kys

I guess you mean your job or something and not your name? this thread is honestly pretty annoying and essentially a shitpost since you apparently can't tell us this important info

nowhere is safe

>>if it was true then they would not get away with this
they are too big to fail at this point, so they are just doing whatever they want

It doesn't really need system32 since it's a 64 bit os.

Try other VM solutions, maybe xen or something. I think there are specific ones for malware that don't report that it's a VM.

I actually activated my 64-bit system by making a system64 directory and moving everything from system32 into there.

I didn't know you had to activate it that way? So if you don't do that it still acts like 32-bit?

It's definitely activated, after I did it I feel a performance boost from the system executing the libraries as full 64-bit, every Windows user definitely needs to try this.

Windows 10 is only as botnet as your brain is autism.

>if it was true then they would not get away with this

>they would not get away with this
who would stop them? the government? nope, they do it as well
the people? hell no, the people don't care

I suppose pirating W10 Enterprise would help a bit, but you can't shut down telemetry completely.
But then you have to trust the crack tool to not be botnet...
