How badly are you being bled by the mobile network J? I see Burgers and Leafs paying $70, $90, $100+ per month and I can't believe it. Surely you don't think that's normal...?

And then other metrics you kind of forgot: >data cap none >maximum speed 100mbps 4g >tethering available yes >protection against phone marketing, phone number not publicly available yes
Other than DNA having some bad parts in their network this service is pretty great.
Though, I'm thinking of switching to Sonera's roaming plan, having no extra costs when roaming in nordic countries could come in handy at times.

Blake Young
They've only just started advertising on TV. Previously it was all internet based. That's why they're cheaper than other networks. Plus their help is community forum and online based, negating the need for phone based help.
You still haven't explained how exactly they are "hipster". What about the adverts is "hipster"? Why exactly do you believe them to be "hipster" other than "hurrr because I say so".
Daniel Thomas
>I have no worthwhile retort to this post, so I'm going to post memes.

The UK is very densely populated so its a lot easier to connect the majority of the population.
The UK is about the size of texas in comparison with the US- and what's more, people are 'spread out' more uniformly in the US than in the UK. Connecting people miles apart costs a lot more, so people pay a lot more.
In other words, you get just as screwed over in the UK as you would in the US.
Anthony Gomez
>network, country OneCall, Norway >cost per month 0 NOK, minimum billing each month is 49 NOK. This means that if I don't use any data, don't call and don't send any sms, it costs 49 NOK/month, but if I use 1 GB data and don't call and don't send any sms, it costs 69 NOK. The minimum billing rule is just to make you have to pay something each month, even if you don't use anything. >phone included? (state which phone) no phone included >minutes 0.39 NOK/min >SMS 0,29 NOK/SMS >data 69 NOK/GB
I chose this plan because it's the cheapest for me. At most, I use 2 GB per month, call between 0 and 15 minutes and send 10-30 SMS per month. My bill usually comes to between 75 and 150 NOK per month, depending on how much data I use, equating to between 9 and 18 USD.

Fuck this city country. And fuck the telecom regulator, "Hurd surf no cartel in Greek mobile providers, never mind that all 3 have identical overpriced plans"
Jace Mitchell
we had the same story with the regulator in France then it allows another operator to come in whoops, prices divided by 3
Jack Phillips
That's insane, you're not getting anything out of your 32€
Christian Gomez
I'll take "things that happen if you don't pay denbts" for 32€/month, Mr. Papadopulous.
Anthony Roberts
T-Mobile,US $37.50 Unlimited everything. Typically get 40mbps at home.
Robert Green
This has little to do with the fiscal irresponsibility of Greece and everything to do with a regulator that doesn't actually regulate, a government that's hostile to businesses and extremely convoluted (and many times impossible) permit scheme for antenna/fiber installation.
There's a new wires ISP that's trying to roll out a GPON fiber network and permits for micro trenching are very hard to come by.
