They sound like mediocre 5-1/2" woofer bookshelf speakers. I bought them because I don't need a lot of volume but I do need the space.

Never buy speakers without auditioning them. Sound is a subjective thing and if your going to drop a few hundo you should compare them.

Go to a local music store with a studio/recording section and ask to demo some of the various models. Bring music you know/like.

Krk rp8s are what I got. Damn fine monitors for the price.

They can sound really good if you position the sub right. Especially for movies and games.

Logitech speakers are generally bottom barrel entry tier. They get the job done. At most they'll sound better than the speakers built into monitors or the ones that used to come default with prebuilts

this, compared to decent speaker, they suck, but compared to below shit tier shovelware that you get in monitors, they work great

i would use them everyday, for stuff like watching youtube, streaming an episode of a show i missed while i do other shit, or playing simple music while i poke around this shitty site

LOL are you serious dude? My home stereo cost like 3000$ at street price. Although for anyone looking the swan d1080 speakers are what I use. And there pretty much the jam. Sound better than just about every entry level monitor. Plus it has a clone gain amp which is indestructible.

No, they are great for nothing. Get it through your thick skull, just because you have never heard how decent speakers sound doesn't mean logikeks are good at anything. I have owned logikeks myself for years, only thing they were good at was making a lot of noise with farting subwoofer. Then I switched to $150 2.0 system (Edifier r1600, because I'm too poorfag to afford passives + amp) and the difference is insane.
