where did you get that braided cable?

Ideally nothing, but the five volt levels between the charger and computer are likely different, resulting in some amount if current flow. Any mobo designer worth their salt will have diodes, mostly likely of the schottky variety if you're interested, to keep idiots like you from breaking things. Data pins are a non issue as they're generally shorted within the charger to signify a power-only device.

Best Buy. Brand is called Platinum
>inb4 apple switches the ground and data pins in their chargers too

It's a USB line... I'll tell you later.

What is that? I can't think of a device that plugs into the wall and has (I assume) a female microUSB port. Is it for charging?
Oh it's probably USB-C isn't it.

My USB type C AC charger cable swapped out with a USB type C to A male to male cable
If you have 2 USB 3 ports, plug that into one, and the other will get boosted to USB 4 speeds.
it will double charge ur laptop and super charge a desktop.
it explodes
Most likely nothing.
It will fry a mac at least.
Many chink devices use male to male USB for power.
China have no regards for standards.
Nothing actually.
You will just trip the USB fuse due to overheating and you won't be able to use the usb port for a couple of hours if you're lucky..
Isn't that usually because of the SMC chip being poorly designed?
For you
