Should i buy it or is it a just a meme?

Should i buy it or is it a just a meme?

Seems reasonably priced..

Never knew it came in yellow too

TOP KEK.
it's an old goodwill mouse, what can you expect, I also found one in black.

That yellow one is tight af.

If I found that I'd buy it without a doubt.

They work, I still have one

All right, I'll take your word for it, let's hope I don't regret it.

Just a meme.

Have had one for ages but it's more of a backup mouse to me since I don't like it much at all.
The one thing I can say is that it at least has good build quality I guess.

Mine lasted 15 years. Microswitch finally broke. USB cable was still good.

it's the sweat and semen from the previous owner(s)

I'ts a meme, buy them and resell them to neckbeards for extra shekels.

That one is covered in pee pee wee wee

Damnit miguel you fucked up our bushes.

you can rever that color to the original, you need some H202 or something. Look it up user, i remember seeing a method on a video about old computer equipment

The big draw of these is increasing the polling rate to 500 or 1000Hz, but you can't do that if your board lacks native USB 2.0 ports

Retr0bright, yes hydrogen peroxide and UV light.

Shit tier sensor, check out some cheap Logitech or a cheap gaming mouse without macros if you want something with a good sensor, 1000Hz polling is a joke if the sensor is shit.

I've had mine for over 10 years in daily use still works

how did you get those massive callouses?

Some people actually do work, NEET.

Put it in the sunlight, UV lights won't do shit.

Yes, UV light, does not matter if it's sunlight or a lamp.

Never used a lamp, but people say good lamps do a fine job, at least you can have several at different angles, with the sun you have to rotate.

If you're not buying a Logitech Itself mouseā„¢ you don't have the right to own a computer

I work out a lot, and I work in construction

Wait, are these supposed to be good or something? Have like 3 or 4 of them i use for old PC builds and testing. They're fine but i certainly wouldn't use it every day over my G500.

400DPI just isn't enough on a 1080p screen

I've heard, but I'm not eggsactly sure.

Great build quality, no bullshit, no acceleration on the sensor, etc. Countless UT/Quake tournaments were won with that bad boy. You can even "overclock" it in a certain sense by increasing the polling rate.

If you find these for under $15, buy them. They're out of production and a fantastic mouse for that price.

Excellent for it's time but it is a meme now. Modern gaming mice sensors outperform it in every metric. I still use them in my retro gaymen builds though.

They are completely useless if you don't OC the polling rate. Malfunction speed is still pathetically low when OC'd

It's a meh purchase, not because the mouse's bad but because it's so old that by now there are so many way better alternatives out there at the same price.

These microsoft mouses are revered for their perfect sensor, mememaster

>shit tier sensor

You serious? These mice pretty much set the standard for all other optical mice out there. Most of the mice that logitech, steelseries and other major mouse companies make are modelled and designed after this mouse. The sensor also used to be considered perfect for its time, but they have developed better sensors since then.

The switches are easy to replace. What happened to yours, corrosion?

A lot has changed in 6 years senpai. The perfect control speed of the MLT04 is pathetic by modern standards.

>scrollwheel is shit quality and will break in no time
>inaccurate as fuck tracking
>ugly
>uncomfortable unless you have babby hands
Meme status: over 9000

this, I hope people that still shill this shit and things like the mx518 fucking die holy christ

>Being in a position where you might regret a $3 purchase.

OP you probs shouldn't have got it, and should probably be working on your resume.
