/guts/ thread, because without them, I have no purpose.

I finally got to play some BF1 last night, and felt it was garbage. But it runs very well.

Ayy i got some 10 fps boost which means i run it now at 30fps on iGpu. Feels gud.

What settings and resolution? That's kind of bad ass actually, that the iGPU is strong enough. Are you going to get a real GPU?

Right now, at max settings on 3,440 x 1,440, and I think only one of my 1080's actually running, I seem to get a solid 60+ FPS.

Lowest settings and around 720p. Ill be getting a GPU once i get the money.

What are you planning on getting? A 1060 would be a good choice for low-cost 1080p gaming.

And that's still pretty impressive if you ask me.

Im not sure yet, but 1060 would be real comfy.

It's about as fast as a 980, but less heat output and power consumption. A bretty good chip.

Finished my build recently r8

Nigga why you got your Arizona Tea shoes inside your case?

Looks pretty good other than that lolol I'd also suggest putting the radiator at the top of the case, as to not impede the front fans airflow and dump the extra heat out of the case.

I hear a lot of opinions on radiator placement. Most people say do a top exhaust since heat rises and the hottest air will be leaving your case. A lot of people say to do a front intake since it'll radiate to 100% fresh air and should run quieter due to lower temps
If I mount my thing in the front I'll lose all my drive spaces, but I don't need them really
What do

Its a define s case if I remove some of the top panels I lose some silence

Plus everything runs at great temps

As far as "heat rising," while it does, a computer case is pretty small in volume, even the larger ones, and air will go where ever it's pushed by fans.

Your 1070 won't dump a lot of heat into the case, so, the radiator being mounted to exhaust air out the top won't really give it "unfresh air." I'd say top mounted as exhaust, since it'll look neater too.

Oh, I replied to the other guy thinking it was you lol

Yeah, I'm sure they're good still. If silence is what you're after then I'd leave them closed as you have. Funny enough about that, I had a Corsair 550D a few years ago, with an i5-2500K and the original Corsair H100. I had the radiator top-mounted, and would often leave the top cover panel on, and even though the air from the radiator had almost no where to exhaust too, the system ran really cool.

I do top exhaust with my h100i gtx, which I bought on sale for stupid cheap ($60 so I figured why not). My CPU runs about 18 Celsius to upper 20 Celsius tops. It's pretty great.

Kind of early this time.

looking to get a 1080 soon

Interesting green tea shoes.

As always nice and clean.

Where's the psu?

On the other side its a split case (air 240).

Thanks man.

No problem. I have a question though mine is I was going to put the back plate back on my gpu was wondering if painting it white would help it look better for my guts. I mean the case is white but there is not a lot of it in the actual case just want to make it look nice.

A little too much for my taste, but it's nice and powerful.

With What software do you make the system overview things?

Speccy is a good one.

: ^ )

Hows 390 holding up with new releases?

flowmeter started not turning on lower pump speeds :(

Pretty good getting between 45 fps and 60 depending on the settings. Mostly says in the upper 50's.

...

PLEASE, user. Tip with the bigger side of a screwdriver or something against the reservoir. Many in Sup Forums have these bubble inside the reservoir and this triggers me.

This thing is a CSGO dream machine

...

Fix your wires holy shit

Why do you have a Xeon E3 if you're not using ECC RAM?

This like crazy. The build is so fucking sexy and then you spoil it by being lazy with the cable management.

Those are temporary, quit crying.

The bubbles are gone now.

>quit crying.
Never

I never even noticed the wires until now, to much good stuff going on in there.

how do you like that nzxt g10? considering getting one.

which phanteks case is that? i cant find it on their website

I suck at cable management :( give me tips Sup Forums

It's the Evolv ATX TG

what case is that user it looks fuckin slick

damn im blind. thanks, was thinking of getting the p400 but i think yours might be better

NICE
PURPLE FAN!!
Odd Shoes
Rear Fans??? Maybe??
1080 would be good
PLEASE NEW CASE TO SORT OUT PSU
doesn't exactly tickle my fancy
maybe hard tubes, otherwise good XD
how much porn u got???
small fan
why stock, WHY
Clean

HOPE YOU LIKE MINE XDXDXDXD

There are two 80mm fans and one 120mm fan
The other 80 is behind that little cover by the front and the 120mm is behind the hdd's

huzzah

That's actually a nice looking air cooler

Good red a black theme

thanks. do you have an ssd hiding on the other side?

Ya I forgot to take a picture of the back when I was in better lighting but I have a 500GB Samsung 850 Evo and a Corsair HX850i PSU

it's the best air cooler i could find that i also like the look of, lol

Fuck me daddy

did you paint the red accents on your motherboard? i wanna get this board but turned off by the red accents it seems to come with

working on fabbing a custom front panel

...

nevermind, i looked closer you have the fornula variant

Alexander Weiss C853. Its around 40 euros. I love the way it looks.

Slit your throat please.

...

old setup

Scratched off the green of the GeForce logo? Looks nice. I love B&W, but also like to have color accents with it.

Why did you buy a GPU direct from Nvidia though? Like as opposed to EVGA.

ya sanded down the logos I love the clean look. Those are evga reference cards

Did a few upgrades to monitors and cards. Its basically perfect for 1440p.

Oh sorry I'm blind.

What did you end up doing with your 780 TI's? Were you able to find a buyer even with the green sanded off(if you sold them)?

I sold them

Howd i go managing my cables, if i could get something to cover the snake pit it would lokk pretty tidy i think

>corsair h100i v2 liquid coolers

I just returned the one I picked up at BestBuy a few days ago because it wouldn't properly fit in my CORSAIR 600T WHITE CASE.

The front intake only accommodates a single 200m fan (nice job, Corsair), and the MB has some cables connected at the top which prevented me from mounting it up there.

Now I have to settle for a bulky peasant air cooler or a tiny radiator AIO system.

I had a Corsair H100 inside the 600T, with CPU cables top-mounted and didn't have any clearance issue. Not sure what happened in your case lol

Its pretty good keeping my r9 390 pretty cool.

...

Eat shit, bitch.

God that brown PCB makes me want to fucking kill myself.

I mean it could help but black and white are also good.
Im not buying a new case cause im not spending $300 on a case that I like.
>he doesn't want a challenging build to make aesthetic looking

LOL

make it look not shit

nice repost >>vucker

My 2004 gaming rig guts, come at me.

...

>want to get a 480
>660ti still plays gaymes just fine
>can't justify buying a gpu to replace one that still performs well

hey guts

Pros:
Hardware, you obviously have some money invested and I'm sure it runs like a dream.

Cons:
-You seem pretty fucking clueless.
-Cables are what the fuck horrible, even when you added the sleeved ones. Look into that.
-Your tubing (I prefer acrylic to begin with, but lets ignore that) is off. You have a couple of pieces too long and 2 too short.
-dat sli bridge, thats a joke, right? Let's blow 1600+ on GPU's to use the ugliest bridge in the world.
-dem bubbles.... if you don't know how to bleed your loop, look it up. With that much air in your system, I can guarantee your temps spiking up and down randomly and not staying constant.

Kudos on blowing probably 6k+ on a set up and ruining the build aspect of it.

I like how clean your tubing is, but I really think it should've been some high class clear tubing.

What am I missing here...
It looks like it goes from your pump into front rad, then you have a drain hose from the front rad and nothing else?
Unless you have a T splitter which is running it from front rad to top rad... which seems, redundant.

Why not go pump - GPU - top rad - cpu - front rad - res

Y splitter, but yes.
Goes from pump -> front rad -> top rad -> CPU -> GPU -> res.
Yes, yes, I know the CPU in/out is the wrong way around. I didn't think about it at the time and its since that point I've thought about it.
As for going from rad to rad, its been proven that going cpu->rad->gpu->rad->res makes no difference.
The temperature evens out throughout the cooling system.

When I redesign the loop, I'll have it feed from pump->GPU->CPU->rad->rad->res, but right now its not due a proper maintenance until December/January at the earliest. It'll probably be March before I get any changes made to it, to be honest with you.

As for why there's the drain there? Well the Y-splitter doesn't really fit well on the other side, which would've been more ideal otherwise. Gotta be at the lowest point and its not really that bad to drain once its mostly empty because at that point, I can start to tip the case around to drain that front rad.

Once I do the redesign, that placement for the drain shouldn't really be an issue as it'll feed from the correct side.

I wasn't questioning the drain, I just wasnt sure if you had water going anywhere else.

I would recommend either going hard lined, or run that drain to the back where the cables are.

Ah, fair play. Also, sorry for late response, had stuff to get done.
I am very much considering hard-line tubing, though its also a matter of cost and my desire to save up for a mortgage in the near future.
If I go for hard-line, I think there are little bits I'll keep as soft (such as the hidden tube which goes from top rad to front rad and maybe the tube which goes from front rad to pump/res)

As for re-routing the drain - not possible. This is a Fractal Design Define S case, and doesn't have the room in the back for the tubing. I understand why you say that, absolutely, but I've got a HDD in the bottom slot and even without that there just isn't enough room for a tube.
The good thing is, with the front window panel on, you don't see any of that drain tube however. So its not as obviously messy as it seems.

>Republic of Gamers lmao xD amirite gaiz?!

Also, LOL buying dominators.

>tfw new stuff came in

Just restarted after being on for 6 days straight because of my Plex server.

Just about to re-do my entire cable management, this makes my R5 look like shit

Windowed or non-windowed?

I love my Alpenföhn Olymp.

What does this even mean

>Clueless
How so?

>Cables
That's not how they'll be routed forever.

>Tubing, some too long some too short
Again, how so? I wanted some with a bit a flex for reasons, and some without. It's not hard tubing, so, there's not really a "too long" or "too short."

>SLI bridge
Also temporary, waiting for EK to release their HB bridge

>Bubbles
Those are gone now that the loop as been running for a while.

I've considered it, but, flexible tubing is so much nicer to work with.

>Literally nothing wrong with either of those

Redone my cables this afternoon

I like these threads because they make me remember to clean my filters

shameful pic is shameful

I also played it the other day without knowing that the resolution scale slider was broken. So I ran the game in 8k resolution instead of 4k.

Was pretty I guess, as far as sand go.

bump

Nice, how's that predator treating you?

Get 3000+ RAM it should boost your iGPU directly.

RoG hardware is fine, the fucking label is 2edgy5me.

And seriously, what better way to waste money for no apparent reason than to buy 80 times the amount of RAM than you'll ever use in your lifetime.
