2/2

Only thing I'd recommend in there is AdAway and maybe OrBot

That's a lot of trash

>too autistic , he can't be choose a beer by himself

>VLC
To the trash.

VLC is trash on desktop, but actually good on android. Better than mx player for animes

VLC is the best codec player though

It's more like wikipedia for beer, gives info and reviews for beers and such.

the ones i use

VLC shits himself when you have a big collection of videos... Never had a single problem with MX player

What font are you using?

AdAway
AnySoftKeyboard
Clover
Lightning
Newpipe

If you look at the archives there was a thread were an user posted a list of useful apps that i believe most of them are on f-droid

what's your app view (up speed 9.5kbps ,down speed 228.2kbps) ?

On my tablet I'm using

Antennapod. Podcast app, I rarely use it though since I listen to podcasts on my phone 100% of the time
Apollo. P.good music player
Bubble. Great comic book reader
Ghost Commander. Great file manager
Lightning. Best android browser
Markers. Fantastic drawing software
NewPipe. Great app for Youtube
TD. Great app for Twitch streams
VLC. You pretty much need this if you want to use NewPipe or TD. I purposely use downgraded to 1.6.6. I had severe playback issues with 1.9.0 and 1.6.6 just works perfectly.

Quite a few
AdAway - Adblocker. Needs root.
AFWall+ - Because why not using a firewall on a smartphone?
DAVdroid - Very well done replacement for Google Calendar and Contacts (I'm using Baïkal as self hosted backend)
Ghost Log - I admit, I'm not utilizing it often, but it's a really nice app for displaying Logcat on the device itself
GSMLocationNlpBackend - Because a local database of GSM Towers fits perfectly fine for rough location
Headphone detector for Vanilla Music - The name.
KeePassDroid - Well known password manager
Lucid Browser - Lightweight browser (rarly using it)
MozillaNlpBackend - As real online alternative to Google Location Service
OpenTasks - Integrates with DavDroid for tasks (install this first)
Overchan - Browsing Sup Forums memes
RadioDroid - Listing to online radios
TD - Watching Twitch (nice because you can share a stream link to a app for Kodi)
Vanilla Music - Nice, small but featureful music player
Wi-Fi Privacy Police - Protects against WiFi spoofing
µg UnifiedNlp - Location provider because I want NetworkLocation but I don't have GApps

I'm looking for a decent IRC client with DCC capabilities.
Is there anything like that in f-droid?

what's your net monitor app?

>Clover v2.1.3
2.2.0 is on floens' github

I depends on what you are looking for, for me Adaway

DNS66 for cucks like me who dont wont to root for adblocking apps like Adaway

I kinda like the NMap frontend called "NetworkMapper"

Why not root your phone?

Clover
Newpipe
Libretorrent
Dns66
Nhbooks

Looking for media player over smb.

Lightning 4.2.3a

I want to root the phone I have when I get a new phone

>Dns66

Did you just install it

Bump,atm I'm using vlc

Yes (?)

my job is done

Seconded. DNS66 is a great option if you want to retain OTA updates.

Wut

>nearly his lord's year 2017
>f-droid STILL does not have screenshots
Like what the fuck guys

Does dns66 come with a preconfigured, updatable blocklist?

Total commander?

>Using anything with a BSD license
Ok

yes, it has a bunch of blocklists including Adaway host list

The only short coming of DNS66 right now is the lists dont auto update, so you may have to refresh the list to initiate updats manually

Why not?
Everybody else does.

>"everybody" else does

nori, open camera, overchan, sicmu, skytube, tachiyomi, transportr, amaze

DNS66 does nothing. What am I doing wrong?
Note4, Android 6.0.1.

MaterialFBook

OK. Installed and seems pretty good so far.

...

you could use irssi in termux from f-froid

irssi on termux

did you turn it on?

did you refresh the lists?

What apps on F-Droid are worth contributing to?

That is a legit good question. I would argue to improve Atomic IRC client, it needs a better folder arrangement for new feeds, currently mine is all over the place with lots of feeds.

Another story would be merging something like ApkTrack with microG to replace Google Play Store. The first downloads apps from the play store without having gapps, the second makes compatible some apps without the need to having gapps.

Just got DNS66 and its pretty good but I dont know what the difference between domain filters and dns servers are. Should I bother enabling the domain filters? They are disabled by default

>Should I bother enabling the domain filters? They are disabled by default

Yes because ads will get filtered using that

If you use it with domain filters disabled you will be seeing ads, test it with an app you know has ads in it

Any good calendars?
I'm looking for one with the holidays and such specifically.

Bunping this question

Let you know that Orfox is outdated

None.Exchange,Gapps or Offline Calendar.

OpenCamera
AnySoftKeyboard
OpenStreetMaps(As a whole)
MicroG
Mozilla or some other open location collection app
Not Fdroid but only thing that's stopping Android from being totally google free is a speech to text app.

>Using Fdroid
>Not using superior spic alternative

>Botnet

>720x1280
>2016
>Can’t even afford apps
Kill yourself poorfag

>using an app for apps

The one that comes with the material dark theme. Dunno what it's called, but that's the theme.
Data usage monitor
Good to know

I wouldn't use that if I were you
