i dont even know what this is
what does it do that vlc cant?

I have cmus. Why should i even think about other players when i already have the best?

Some Russian freeware?
Surely there could be nothing shady about that!
I see nothing that AIMP does that many open source music players don't do. You're gonna have to try harder to troll...

>what does it do that vlc cant?
webm related
lmao.. autistic cli player with no functions
>Surely there could be nothing shady about that!
prove it. But I'm sure the KGB is already analyzing my music taste with the goal to assassinate me at the end.

Where can I download it?

Looks similar to Groove

Enjoy your trojan kid

It does that shit in your webm except faster. Are you even trying?

aimp.ru/

vlc does this

>windows babies have to resort to listening to music on youtube
smdh tbqh

but VLC doesn't import Soundcloud playlists
Those are mostly unreleased tracks I'm listening to, that's why..

I use potplayer from Korea on windows

good player

It runs under wine...
Also, MPV can also play yt playlists fine. Try harder winshit.

>lincuck this mad

You're confusing Russia with the Russian government. Russia and Russians aren't shady or bad, it's the government that is.

You're missing out on a great media player purely for Sup Forums reasons

>my argument is invalid
>lincucks can do things that i can. Better call her a cuck!
Stay mad because people who use software other than you can do the same things you can do.

Next argument guarteed to be pic related.

>Russians aren't bad
>responsible for great part of global credit card fraud

>listening to YouTube music, but then also downloading a conversion of the music videos so you can listen to that 128 kb/s lossy MP3 experience all day

That's okay, you can keep it.

Show me how you import and manage Youtube and Soundcloud playlists on MPV
it's unreleased music you autistic FLAC fag

yeah lincucks are mad

I don't care about FLAC, but if you setiously can't tell the difference between 128 kb/s and 320 kb/s, you're either due for an upgrade or you need your ears checked. As in, actually urgently checked.

You can do that in the player you mentioned in WINE. Soundcloud works with Rythembox also.

seriously*

How the fuck am I supposed to listen to a 320kbit track that hasn't even been released yet? Dude.. Those are mostly 128kbit recordings.. All other tracks that have been released are at 320kbit on my harddrive
>WINE
dropped. Gtfo with your lincuck workarounds.. what comes next? QEMU?

I strongly prefer cmus.

this is literal autism.. not even trying to be funny

>"guys look, I'm so techy I listen to my music via CLI"

>workaround
>install WINE
>double click exe
>done

There's a linux player named Tomahawk that's specifically designed for playing music from online streaming sites. It supports importing playlists, making libraries & playlists, and more.

That said, last time I used it it seemed somewhat incomplete and I'm not sure how actively developed it is. Either way, I only used it for about a week before I decided searching for and streaming music wasn't for me.

>b-bbut that's c-cheating!
>mmight as well u-use windows!

Stop listening to hipster shit then.
Or don't I don't really care. My point is you're using a weird client to just listen to videos on a website that is already free for everyone, and then you're trying to show it off like if anyone here is jealous, or even remotely cares for such a thing.

I remember that program.. it pissed me off because it was shit at handling your local files.. no auto update etc.

It's not about being a techy, it's just a really good player.

this

...

Why not use Windows if Linux software isn't good enough? You're admitting defeat.

Yea, I recall that it was very clearly not designed for doing anything local.

by the way here's a link to their github
github.com/tomahawk-player/tomahawk

Because windows is literally cuckware.

I bet you let other men have sex with your wife.

>haha, bet you can't do that
>yea, i can
>haha, can't even do that

I use Clementine because I don't know of many decent players for this shit

Like pottery
Because Windows sucks ass?
Because Windows is not FOSS?
Because I'm not a bootlicker?

>Stop listening to hipster shit then.
>ad hominem
ayy lmao, Lincuks getting mad.
this
this, it beats the whole "purpose" of using Linux ayy lmao

Clementine is the only decent player that is available on Linux

This thing you're running on WINE is not "FOSS" either, duck.

ITT : user posts stupid thread in the hopes of getting everyone riled up and everyone falls for it like a bunch of idiots

I thought you were better than this, Sup Forums.

The less nonfree software used the better

>Because Windows is not FOSS?
>utilizes Windows libraries via Wine
Lincucks starting to sweat
damage control

Try harder.

Day of a Linuck at coolege
>sits down in class
>gets out his 3kg thinkpad from 2005
>boots up Arch
>logs in (manually without a display manager because it looks "cody")
>opens terminal and starts listening to music
>linuck thinks "I hope they'll think I'm like Mr.Robot"
>hot girl enters
>"shit I have to remove that anime wallpaper quickly, I should have installed Nitrogen"

It works in wine. Clementine is better.

Hmmm... Not quite there yet.

Windows user here, by the way. I just think you really aren't trying hard enough.

aimp and the youtube plugin works fine ootb in wine

Nah, looks like some scam player like GOM.

Bet, it ends up in the FFMPEG hall of shame as well.

>it ends up
AIMP is 10 years old ayy lmao

Day of a Linux user at college
>sits down in class
>gets out my X200
>boots up Arch
>open LibreOffice and take notes
>gives smug face on pen&paper addict buddy
>after class he asks my notes because he couldn't keep up with the "prof on modafinil" show
>even more smug, almost kek

So it's probably already in there.
Unfortunately, it's getting maintained...

thats not cli you fuckwit

>literal command line interface
>not cli

technically it's a tui

Sup Forums literally can't get off putins dick tho

no its not.

im actually embarrassed to come to the same website as idiots like you.

>semantics

just fucking kill yourself

linux has audacious. also aimp uses too much resources for the gui. the android version is nice tho

>wincucks

I will, using the kill cli :^)

Best. Player. Ever.
Winblows 10 is trash though. thanks to Windows 7 I use AIMP, otherwise I'd use Linux.

...

As in if Winblows 10 was the only option. 7 being available I use it, there's more than just AIMP as a reason to use Win7: Office 2010, Paint.Net, less bugs, better looking, etc.

>Literally means figuratively now

It literally does :^)

...

Oh yes, the whole of Russia is responsible for that. All 143,5 million of them.

Just no. It's a minority- it's a really tiny minority. It does a lot of damage, but still tiny.

Linux weebfags wish they had a lot of things I'm guessing.

ah jeez, you're right

I've been too harsh, just let me go ahead and remove that block for Russia's IP range, and hell China too.

Open border and open firewalls

TOP
KEK

I use to use AIMP, then I moved to foobar

I don't miss it

This is one of the main reasons why I will not use Linux as my main OS

Shitty b8.
Well, a better nv card. On software side i have everything. You should wish better manners.
deadbeef share a developer with foobar.

You are assfucked roughly by micro&soft.

Not really, no.

>Windows normies wish they had this player

foobar2000 runs in wine with every component I've tried except foo_w7shell (which is an acceptable loss), global hotkeys working and everything, and fb2k is one of the few windows apps that I actually miss ever since I made the permanent switch

there's other players of course and most of foobar2000's functions are available from native Linux programs, but sometimes you really just want the Swiss army knife

Use mpv. It's not a CLI player, you can click files in a file manager to open them with mpv.

>Winamp will never be updated again
why live
tried many but i just cant transfer to them from winamp

Foobar is superior tho, and its able to run most Winamp plugins

...

only reason i ever used aimp is because it had proper stero - 5.1 upmix and alsa/pulseaudio does this out of the box just like XP so no, i like rhythmbox or vlc or cmus better for music.

>weeb
>not using this one

Not him, but I'd like you to elaborate upon reasons as to why I should use foobar over Winamp 2.9 or 5.

Does VLC have tabbed playlist management? I never saw tabbed playlists in vlc or gom or mpc.

>it's unreleased music you autistic FLAC fag

Youtube doesn't support FLAC. You're actually upscaling low bitrate mp3 to FLAC and too stupid to know how it works.

That's not adobe audio experience, the true weeaboo music player.
OP once again proves he's a faggot.

bspwm+urxvt on macOS?

Much better music player and isn't out of date

What makes you think that's macOS?

It's Arch with openbox.

The what now? What's this?

Is this a fucking skinned winamp?

What does it offer? I only use music players to listen to music rather than jerk off with them.

And my music collection is organized in proper folders.

"I know nothing about computers but I want to fit in"

The post.

open source music player from adobe, their first foray into non-proprietary software
and speaking of adobe, have this
