This. It's the perfect phone. It has a micro SD card slot, a great DAC, a decent camera and HTC's UI is basically 95% vanilla Android and it's a developer friendly device and there are already some great custom ROMs for it (Resurrection Remix, etc.).

The G 2014 had an SD slot and 5 inch display. The 4.5inch model was from 2013 and no SD unless you got the LTE model.

I have a Q10 that I'm using right now. I pre-ordered the G2 when it came out. Used that for a year but accidentally busted it so I got the Q10. Spilled whiskey on it(and probably other shit, I blacked out) and thought I destroyed it. Bought another G2 and used that for a year. Then got a battery for the Q10 and it still works amazingly fast.
Thinking of moving to the Passport. How's typing on the keyboard? I want to like it but I'm so used to the four rows on the q10.
Depends on which model but currently the Passport is $200-300 BRAND NEW. All the others are probably around there or cheaper. I don't know about the Android phones they make though.

I really do prefer the Q10's keyboard but the Passport's isn't too bad. I think most of my issues with it will cease after I get some time to adjust, I've only had the phone for three days. Once I get used to the gestures and all it should be pretty nice.

But it's worth it since the screen is so much bitter and has crazy good PPI. I'm contemplating between the Classic and Passport. The Classic is pretty much the Q10 with a bigger screen and a few extra buttons but same hardware. The Passport is pretty much better in ever way except the keyboard(maybe).

The screen's pretty nice, only things I really don't like about the phone are that it's not AMOLED and it doesn't have a 4 row keyboard. I also miss having the Q10's removable battery but that's not too big of a deal.
I've got the original factory unlocked version. I was going to switch between my Q10, the Passport, and a Classic that I'm eventually getting based on what I feel like using that day but I didn't realize the Q10 takes a micro SIM while the latter two take nano SIMs. At least I'll still be able to switch between the Classic and Passport though.

I bought the G4 Plus (3 GB RAM version) three months ago because some user said it was THE phone for someone who wanted quality but didnt want to spend more than 300 dollars on it or import a xiaomi from china, the screen had burn-in issues in the status bar a mere two days after i bought it, i took it back to the store and they just gave me a new one, no questions asked, this seemed a bit fishy and indeed it was, the new phone had the same problem, i gave it back again and they gave me a new one, it lasted a full month before it had the same screen issue like the other two, i dont even get any notifications besides tachiyomi telling me every six hours when a manga gets new chapters or the occasional dead youtuber uploading part X of weeaboo game.
The "fix" was rooting, installing an app that will mess with your phone, calibrating and leaving your screen less bright and with a distinct blue tone, then pretending it doesnt bother you, repeat every time the burn-in issues come back to fuck you in the ass.
This is apparently a very common issue of Lenovorola and you cant do anything to prevent it, ala LG and their bootloops.
So the 4G play is a no go?

I am so fucking sick of having to change settings every fucking time I want to install something because they insist on fucking having 100 settings inside of it to fucking pry my information from me and monitor me and run 24/7 even though I only use the program for like 10 minutes a week and it constantly fucking checks for updates and updates and pops up and requires 3 confirmations before it closes and it has 4 processes so it's annoying to end the process and then they make you install their fucking software with the program that tries to force you to register and fucking all that shit then you finally go to uninstall it and there's 40 boxes to check to get rid of it and then it'll take you to a web page once you've uninstalled it asking why you want to uninstall it and I don't want to fill a fucking questionnaire out so I close it but then there's a fucking confirmation box that I need to check to confirm that I want to leave this fucking webpage

I know I should like a shill but the Redmi Note 3 Pro is a near perfect phone for me too. 9hr SOT, fingerprint reader, 1080p, FM radio, microsd card slot, SD 650, US LTE, and great custom ROM community. I thought it would feel like a downgrade from my broken OPO but it ended up being 2x better.
I guess now I understand how great a phone can be when it ignores the gimmicks like having a 1440p display or the fastest flagship snapdildo.
