Any of this worth shit? Is the cyberghost VPN service good?

No.

>the fucking "box" concept has reached Sup Forumsentiles now too

god dammit these kikes wont stop

no OP its not fucking worth it

you can pirate all of that shit or a single one of those programs with no problem instead of spending money on some garbage you won't ever use

You can pirate a VPN service?

>proprietary botnet "security" software

KILL YOURSELF

Cyberghost is one of the shittiest VPNs and a lot of their IPs are blacklisted even on normie sites (like Sup Forums). They also keep logs, so don't plan on doing anything illegal through them.

Go back to whatever normalfag forum spawned you

>>>/reddit/

sure, just find the a crack for the license and you are set

According to thatoneprivacysite.net/vpn-comparison-chart/ they dont keep logs.

>Lifehacker

You don't think a service like that would have some kind of 2 way login verification process? It's like saying find a crack for a WoW license and play for free.

>1 year subscription
this is bullshit right here

>not being able to do illegal things is bad

>filthy faggot

>not accepting papa fanku's love

>>not being able to do illegal things is bad
Some laws aren't justified.

should I redeem Display Fusion as a Steam Key or License?

i know that the steam key doesn't actually require steam to be running to work after the initial install, but what about the license? is there any difference?

well, if you want to play free better find the crack

Are you fucking retarded?

epin buzzwords my meem!

Acronis has good software.

Their T&Cs are carefully-worded to make it sound like they don't.

>CyberGhost keeps no logs which enable interference with your IP address, the moment or content of your data traffic.

Nothing about connection data.

What data would I ever be concered with them keeping as long as it doesn't connect me to my real IP or my personal information (which they don't have since I got the key from humble bundle)?

>subscription anything
suck my dick

I'm not against paying for good software but I'm not putting myself at the mercy of those faggot ass developers

You're not worried about THEM having that data, user, you're worried about who else might get it later. The fact that you think you're anonymous because you bought it via Humble Bundle is adorable. That extra step will totally bamboozle any authorities looking to find you.

>is there any difference?
The only difference is where you register it. If you already have Steam, it doesn't matter a whole lot.

>tfw i can finally enjoy lastpass

But the data is useless if you can't connect it to anything that identifies me. What good is a list of things person X has done on their networks when you don't know anything about him?

>upload your passwords into our cloud so you can access them anywhere!

I kinda want Display Fusion...

pretty certain he is.

I guess he is technically right, but only if you don't understand licencing policies.

tl;dr Yes he is

brief summary of the software:
Breevy:

" Breevy is a text expander for Windows that helps you type faster and more accurately by allowing you to abbreviate long words and phrases -- saving you time and money."
--This is from their website. Can't see the real life benefit.

Fences:

Organise desktop icons, not that usefull but looks nice

deskshapes

memetier

Opus 12:

shitty version of midnight/total commander

Display fusion:

all of that is done in the VGA drivers

Lastpass,

Cloud password storage is stupid and you know it is unsafe

cyberghost:

not as private as other solutions

Acronis

A nice tool, worth 15 bucks for sure. Only if you need to clone drives all day, otherwise it's a waste

Bitdefender:

Memetier

tl;dr
It's a nice bundle of memetier software. Don't fall for it

Does this bundle come with the Hulk Hogan porn?

is the average going to drop by the end of the week or not

Literally none of the "beat the average" software is good

>all of that is done in the VGA drivers
It isn't, actually. Displayfusion can do a lot more than just set up your monitors.
Unless you mean to tell me that your VGA driver can automate most of your window management on Windows, in which case I'd very much like to know which graphics card you're using.

So is LastPass a literal botnet? Been thinking about making the switch from KeePass since I'm pretty bad about backing up the database.

Back in the day I remember doing most of my multi monitor setup though Catalyst Control Center.

It is the worst idea i can imagine. Having any server exposed to the web is a security rist. letting a company be in charge of your passwords on a internet facing server is naive. Keepass works only as good as you want it to. Be more proactive and set up a cronjob to do it for you.

Just use Dropbox or some other cloud storage to sync your database file.

Why store your passwords on the cloud using a potentially unreliable service that could leave you locked out of all of your accounts, when you can use FOSS keypass locally instead?

Fences is cool if you like organizing things on your desktop. Arconis has apparently gone downhill since trying to "streamline" their software.

Yes, but the point is that Displayfusion goes further than just multi monitor configuration.
So much so that I'd say it's useful even with just a single monitor for its window management capabilities.
For example, Catalyst Control Center won't set a window to a specific size and location under certain conditions or when pressing a hotkey. Displayfusion can do this along with a lot of other nice things that aren't in Windows by default.
If you're into automagically switching wallpapers, it adds a lot of functionality there too, with the ability to source wallpapers from a bunch of different online sources.

IS this a porno and IS there a source

every dataset is connectable via temporal event correlation attacks

You could just do what every other reasonable person does:

Use the same password for every shit site you don't care about, but add some keyword at the end mimetically connected to the site.

For shit you care about, do reasonably unique long ones but still short enough to remember.

Could you put that in laymans terms?

you're on Sup Forums how do you not understand that?

I'd say its worth it fro Acronis alone, the alternative apart from pirating is paying $50 for it.

Displayfusion is well worth it for that price

Because not everyone browsing Sup Forums is into netsec?

It seems like a pretty good deal for $15.

so what are you into user?

Anime desktop wallpapers

oh, ok carry on

What's the original for this comic? I've only seen the joke remakes of it

no idea, first time I saw it it was a school girl in stockings

does anyone here have the thicc version of this

Cyberghost's statement on logs keeping sounds as though they are trying to worm their way out of giving a straight answer.
Does it only seem that way to me because I am a technical dunce?

>DOpus 12 light

I rather keep using a pirated 11 pro version

I use AzireVPN, it has a clear policy and I trust it for my privacy.
There's a chart on this website that compares VPN providers: privacytools.io/

Acronis and DisplayFusion are the only two worth using. And, between those two, DisplayFusion is the only one that most people here would use daily.

No, not worth it imo

This. But for me, the best solution is to have my database file synced through on dropbox and to keep my keyfile always offline. So even if someone manages to hack my dropbox, they will not only need the master password to my database file, they will also need the secondary keyfile to even open it.

You can even keep the keyfile on another cloud storage website like google drive if it's a little more convient for you. Just make sure they're both backed by a strong password.

But then you need to back up the secondary keyfile as well.

the original is that the guy likes the girl.

Display fusion is the shit. I'm only on one monitor since hurricane Mathew took my other 2. You have no idea how useful it is even with just one screen it's incredibly convenient. A friend of mine just got this for that alone.
This nigga gets it.

CD/Flashdrive senpai.

Displayfusion is great

>Wallpaper management
>Window snapping and management
>Other shit that I should probably mention but don't use

Hell, I got it from one of the sales just for the convenient wallpaper management.

Then why not just keep the main file on the CD/flashdrive as well. If you lose one of them, you're fucked.

Backup on the CD.

I've done backups on that and it's okay. Never needed to use it, but don't lose your backups.

Just don't misplace your shit

how do i make a webm that loops seamlessly for deskscapes

directory opus for $1 isn't a bad deal desu
software with amiga roots tends to be great

>Acronis True Image
>it's a disk imaging tool
>why the fuck would it need a subscription

Been using the 2010 True Image release since, well, 2010, still works (I don't use the Windows software, just the bootable media).

>stupid fucking people will be the death of us all

What are you, fucking gay?

>"mom, look at me! I'm using words!"

>illegal == bad
Mkay

Breevy is worth $1 for sure if you're in its target market (people who reply to a lot of emails/do customer support via IM).

Total Commander >>> Opus.

Acronis comes with 50 GB of online storage space for backups. It does client-side encryption. Mite be cool.

Not sure about the rest.

>Acronis
Fuck acronis.
I bought their software a couple years ago and when I switched to Windows 8 the software stopped working.
They were like "tough luck pal, you're going to have to buy the new version"!
Yeah, fuck that noise.

Will Acronis stop working after 1 year or is that only for the cloud bullshit ?

people actually pay for shit like Breevy? That seems like something someone who's only been programming for a month could easily write themselves.

Anybody thinking about getting this for breevy should do themselves a favor and google AutoHotkey first

Seems like it's just the cloud bullshit.

Once the licence runs out the CD stops booting

ummm.....
source?
that doesn't happen with 2012

The thing about end-user software is that it often takes a couple days to prototype but months to years to get the UX right. It's a cliche for programmers with no UX experience to overlook this when they go into project management.

But it's so basic, doesn't even need a user interface.

Isn't lifehacker gawker? Or was it Vox? either way its fucking garbage

>reasonably unique long ones but still short enough to remember
Great plan. Why have the computer remember shit for you?

Can someone who's used both Directory Opus and Total Commander seriously compare them?

Paid $1 just to get Breevy and Fences.

Played around with the desktop thing but it's actually pointless and Directory Opus is really good but the light version lacks Explorer integration so is kind of retarded.

Lastpass also stores your password locally idiot

>giving a shit about le epic lifehacker hipster blog
>in the year 2017-2 months

you got to be kidding me faggot

The point is people can still find out who you are egro what's the point of the vpn

Is display fusion worth it? Seems like a lot of the stuff is already built in windows like the tasks bars and remembering windows locations

kek 5/10

u got him gud
