no
>why
no removeable battery

>meme curve

What does the curve do? Does it add any features? What problem does it solve?

Think of it like the Apple bar. Nice marketing gimmick, insignificant real-world applications.

Why is this a deal breaker for you? Aside from that, it has:
- SD820
- 4GB RAM
- Good battery life
- Nice Camera
- Expandable storage
- SD820 variant is now rootable

Is a removable battery all it's missing?

just bought a s6 edge used a month ago.
good hardware.
no use for edge though.
no otterbox defender case for s6 edge.
shitty that they took away the menu button on the bottom left which was there on s4, s3, etc...
lots of apps have not been updated to have a menu button on screen.

>using an otterbox

Fucking poor people. Put a clear plastic case on it like a man.

>Why is this a deal breaker for you?
the battery on my old phone died and i replaced it and im still using it
i dont like the planned obsolence that comes with a fixed battery
also call me old fashioned but i like removing battery to make sure phone is turned off when i have to absolutely turn off the phone

also its a bit too big for my taste but maybe i could get used to that
i dont care about other specs as much
a phone has to have removeable battery and right sized screen before i consider looking into other specs
sure they are great but i dont do anything on my phone that would require top end processor or 4gb ram
as for camera my phones current camera is a shitty 5mp one so if im buying a new phone i would want that to be an upgrade, but im pretty sure most modern phones are already an upgrade over what i have

the battery can be replaced if need be.
it's just not easy everyday access

does it involve glues and specialized tools?

youtube.com/watch?v=i7z7pZV5pFY

having to use heat gun just to open the back is no go for me already

>tfw regular S7 coming in tomorrow

My S4 doesn't use a nano sim so it looks like I have to take a trip to the ATT store.

Can confirm. Works.

>You're A life saver man. Fuck a 20 dollars
>So I ended up completely ruining my sim card and... im off to buy one in the morning.

>performing surgery on a sim card instead of getting a free one from your provider

I'm good

i meant to present it as a try this for free b4 paying $20 at store. nothing to lose since you plan to buy one anyway

im in a 3rd world shithole but my provider basically had a prebuilt metal cutting press thingy he just placed the card in it and cut it

nice

>using shit that explodes

JKY

Never was. Edge is a fucking meme gimmick. Regular s7 is also not worth it due to all that fucking bloatware.

>the phone freezes indefinitely
>you can't remove the battery to restart it

It also:
-has edge
-has Samshit bloatware all over it (over 1GB)
-has no stable root support
-has over 1080p screen
Even if I could root it and remove the bloatware, the hardware is just off-putting.

Easier swiping, access to apps on the dock located on edge. Haven't used it longer than an hour so I can't say if there's more to it. It's basically a small screen extension.

Same. They do it for free too.

didn't they cancel it because it was exploding on airplanes?

or do you live in south korea because i've read that the note 7 is still being sold there

>>the phone freezes indefinitely
>>you can't remove the battery to restart it

> t. manlet who cant push three buttons at the same time.

Oh wow one whole gigabyte out of 32!!! I love Google now pls rape my anus Google!!!

Have fun when the battery goes to shit 366 days after purchase.

You dont even to push three buttons, just hold down the power button like on any computer.

It doesn't work, this depends on what's wrong with your phone and which phone you use.
Most of those are background apps which drain battery and system resources. Enjoy your bloat.

>not looking at filename
Idiot

So worth rooting now or no?

Everything is always worth rooting

Any custom kernel you install can have a backdoor so no

Still?

What about it?
