I'd like to use it over the Ting GSM network. Since that version of the Redmi Note 3 supports Band 4 for LTE, I assume it should work fine. Has anyone had experience with that network using a Xiaomi phone?
Is there anything I'm doing wrong, or not taking into acount? I'm just looking for any correction or reassurance before making the purchase. Thanks.
Ethan Jenkins
any news on android 7 and emui 5.0 for P9 phones? will it be available this month?
Joshua Cruz
So I'm thinking about getting the IPhone Se. Never had an iPhone before but I'm willing to try the Se out because it's small and cheap.
Are there any other good alternatives to it? Is the Se any good?
Grayson Hall
don't do it
Jackson Taylor
Only partial compatibility via B2 and B4. no B12 which is the main Ting (T-mobile) LTE band in the big cities. your'e taking a risk basically. depends on your location really (rural/city).
Brandon Garcia
Help me find a phone to get plz.
My Sony Xperia Z3 compact was pretty good but the camera had a black blob malfunction and the screen cracked and broke on me today.
Im in the US, have ATT and generally prefer smaller phones. (as I had the compact.) $100-200 dollars budget.

Just downgraded from S4 with CM14 Nougat to S7 edge with 6.01 and its painful
Bentley Peterson
Do it if you want ios. I was on it from the 3g until the 6 but ios 10 completely turned me off. You know things are bad over there when the Android Apple music app is better designed than the native one.
Adam Reed
by smaller do you mean 5 in or less? or is 5.2 fine?
Jaxson Smith
5.2 is fine. I just dont want a giant phone, pretty much.
Mason Jones
First things first do not use the Xiaomi charger. I wouldn't even use the cable but that's probably safe. A couple anons had their redmemes playing up and stop charging altogether. Use your old one or buy new.
Google your network on willmyphonework or frequencycheck
I'm in EU waiting on my redmi to arrive but I already checked bands, in theory normal redmi (kenzo) should work fine on my network. You don't need this of course but kate had the exact same frequencies for my provider, and kenzo is cheaper with far more case options.

So did the Nextbit Robin just get like no attention? Slightly better specs than the 5x and literally 200 dollarydoos on Amazon rn

>Removable battery
If you browse Sup Forums you better be worth your salt and own a fucking screwdriver or two. Look up a guide on ifixit or just youtube a step by step process and you'll realize it's not a big deal changing a "non-removable" battery.

How do you steal games on android
Cameron Harris
Hey nerds, recommend me a phone:
>5-5.2" >fast web browsing >great camera >long battery life >long support life (3+ years) >T-mobile compatible (band 12)
You guys recommended me a Nexus 5 before and it's been a pretty good phone so help me out again, why don't you?
John Roberts
>OPO starting to have problems with the screen, locking up, etc
What's a good replacement? Is the moto g4 any good? Will that be a huge improvement? Don't want to get anything more than 300 or so.
Elijah Wright
Download .apk files and hope really hard it won't ruin your phone or steal everything from it.

Currently using a laggy as fuck Galaxy S5, and I'm looking to upgrade. Burgerland and T-Mobile.
Budget isn't an issue, but I heard the Galaxy S7 Edge on T-Mobile is some kind of "consumer version" so it has a weaker processor than a regular S7 Edge, so if you recommend me the S7 Edge, I'm just going to save $100 and go with the regular S7.
Provided I should stay away from Samshit, what should I get?
And what's the opinion on wireless charging?
Jason Nelson
>Post a mini-review of your phone BB Passport I like it a lot. I've been using it for the last 2-3 weeks. Switched from iPhone to this. I like it a lot. Emails are great with a physical keyboard. The Hub is really really nice, but I think I'll remove FaceBook connectivity. Browsing the web is fine. I have Instagram, Slack, and Venmo apks on it, works fine. I'm not worried about the loss of WhatsApp, I don't use it that much, only with a couple friends. Design: 8/10 OS: 9/10 Speakers: 8/10 Speed: 8/10
Ryder Flores
>Budget isn't an issue, but I heard the Galaxy S7 Edge on T-Mobile is some kind of "consumer version" so it has a weaker processor than a regular S7 Edge
lmao. what the fuck are you talking about. All S7E's in the U.S comes with SD820. In Europe they come with Exynos 8890. Exynos is better.
Galaxy S3 I don't know how it's still running but it is and it's fine. Design 2/10 OS: 0/10 Speakers: dead/10 Speed 4/10
Thomas Taylor
>All S7E's in the U.S comes with SD820. >In Europe they come with Exynos 8890. >Exynos is better. Oh, I was told that the T-Mobile 7 Edge had a 4 core processor as opposed to an 8 core processor.
Bentley Carter
........ Yes, that's the Snapdragon 820, lmao. present in every flagship this year. Exynos is Octa Core and made by Samsung.
Austin Foster
Why isn't the Exynos one in America then?
Nathan White
Ask Samsung.
Jeremiah White
Ordered a Xaomi Note 3 Pro, what's a good case for this phone?
does anyone have any experience with this ROM? I might install it on my RN3 Kate.
Matthew Allen
Probably because Qualcomm is more marketable to US consumers. Or they just wanted to test things out in different regions to see what worked better, idk.
Liam Wright
SNAP OUT OF IT!!!!!!
Dylan Parker
Huawei became my favorite smart phone brand
Brandon Clark
Probably company agreements. SD820 isn't bad at all though.
Dylan Cook
the huawei nova looks very nice, but no roms whatsoever. Reee
Jeremiah Jackson
So in that case it's better to just get a regular S7 right?
Brody Peterson
for the price, I'd rather get a 7 if you really want iOS. Between those two, I'd pick HTC 10.
Grayson Butler
Can flashing a different kernel fix some of the wakelocks on a Galaxy S3 LTE running CM11? I get a perpetual mdm_hsic_pm0 wakelock if I insert or unplug the charger while the screen is off, and without it battery_monitor and mdm_hsic_pm0 take about an hour per 20 hours of deep sleep.
Alexander Gomez
aren't they also typically double the price of xiaomi phones
Ayden Perry
HTC 10, iPhone 7, or Galaxy S7?

Is Windows Phone confirmed for dead or will there be a future? Every year on Black Friday I get a $30 Lumia. I was gonna jump ship for Android if WP is circling the drain but it's hard to find a cheap-ish phone with this quality/features.
Tyler Young
surface phone is the future for them. but it will be high-end
Ryan Mitchell
WP is dead unless you buy a surface phone.
Do not waste your money on anything else.
Justin Ross
Yeah. They're pretty much the same. I have the intl version since I'm south american and it's breddy good.
Xavier King
man, microsoft really is disappointing with updates. My mum still has her lumia 630 and by now she doesn't like it anymore because it's constantly crashing. She also talked about wanting a new phone in the 300 europoor bucks area. Is there anything you'd recommend for moms where I don't have to take care of everything?
Eli Lopez
Id prefer the 7 over the 6s but I still need the headphone jack and the adapter is just an extra inconvenience
Is it safe to edit system.img before I flash it to my RN3P? Don't see the point in installing it all just to remove a shitload afterwards.
What's the best way?
Elijah King
the axon 7 isn't getting a black friday sale, right?
should I just buy it now and put my auto-restarting s4 out of its misery?

Guys, I am between a S7 Flat and HTC 10. I am currently living in Brazil so importing an HTC 10 would cost more (821 USD) than buying a S7 flat (644 USD). Also, Samsung is giving away a Gear VR for anyone that buys either a S7 flat or edge until 31/11. So, what should I do?
Levi Martin
Are the so called "stealth phones" just a scam? They claim to be able to warn you of call interception and some other neat sounding features. Sorry for being off topic.
Jaxson White
I would suggest waiting for black Friday and see if you can get a discount
Kevin Moore
You mean a discount on the HTC 10?
Daniel Barnes
There will likely be a discount on both S7 will probably still be cheaper because it starts cheaper, and because its older and these companies move to give away the old models for cheap
Charles Cox
>le pro 3 already arrived >one day after i ordered it >shipping was free why didn't my american phone arrive this fast

Thoughts on Google Pixels?
I just got my XL and it's amazing except for the battery life. I usually have to recharge it once in the afternoon.
Jackson Gutierrez
Is the Nexus 6P still worth it? I wanna swappa one of those babies, or wait for nigg Friday for crazy deals?
Parker Davis
G4 Play has a removable battery and is 5". Get it from Best Buy or the Motorola site and you can unlock the bootloader too.
Joshua Torres
Is there any way to do the following
>recover deleted text messages/deleted numbers from an iphone 6(t mobile)
>recover data from an old windows phone(metropcs)
Brandon Hughes
Post a mini review famalam.
Nicholas Gutierrez
Give it back Tyrone.
Jose Howard
I see but, in your opinion, do you think the S7 is more worth than the HTC 10? I was looking for something that could last me for a while.
Thomas Young

Sign up for google fi, buy 6p new for cheap, activate fi sim & immediately cancel.
Jaxson Lee
typically yes im sure you can get relatively same functionality through some apps or rooted apps who knows
its ok
meh, not for more than 399, which is what the black friday/CM deals should be like newegg was shilling them for that price
Matthew Hall
But she'll still win.
Anthony Thompson
It's a good phone but I won't buy it because I don't like on screen buttons.
Wyatt Smith
Like literally what? >inb4 blue speech bubbles
Christian Lewis
seriously though I upgraded from a nearly broken galaxy s4 on sprint to this on ting so it's pretty great/10, hard to compare when my last phone was so much worse (and ~5x slower) UI is a bit weird (no settings in the notification swipe down) but I can deal with it
Anthony Perry
Are you trying to sabotage the thread?
Noah Morris
Why do you think the charger is messed up?
Jayden Parker

1 messaging app Longer support Faster than Android More fluid
Isaac Mitchell
>reboot new phone >"I'm getting smarter everyday" in small text fades in on black screen right before reboot is this normal or is my phone sentient
Brayden Foster
Don't see how 1 messaging app is a plus. You're going to have others anyway. Define 'support'. Unless you paid for Apple™Care™, your warrantee is the same as any other phone, unless you meant updates, in which case, it varies by manufacturer/carrier. It's not uncommon for android flagships to be getting updates for 3+ years, like the Xperia Z1. Android is an operating system. Depends on the phone running either OS.
