i think that infinality has been superceded by the latest updates made to freetype

First tip: use the application menu instead of the default start menu. It's better in legitimately every fucking way.

I like the default theme that comes with Manjaro (Maia), but I don't think it's possible to change the titlebar highlight colors easily. If anybody had a suggestion, I'm open to it. It's like the only system color I can't figure out how to change, and of course it's the most important one.

I'd love to see some suggestions for good themes though. I like arc dark myself.

Default maia icons. I'm sure they are in the AUR or a debian repo somewhere.

Both are really comfy themes (light and dark, but I don't have any wallpapers that fit the color scheme. I like the default maia light theme, because it still leaves the titebar and system elements dark. Arc Darker is my go-to GTK theme on MATE, but there are no QT releases of arc darker

It is. Its pretty modular though. I just wish it was more modular than it already is so that way LXQt can borrow apps from KDE without bloat.

I like to think that an OS, or collection of OSes with full customisability will always look better than anything Windows can spew out for the pure fact that the themes are made by people genuinely passionate about the OS.

More importantly though, if you don't like something then you can fucking change it yourself to whatever the fuck you like, make your own theme, design your own icons, whatever the fuck floats your boat.
