you know, calling people, messaging them, browsing the internet
it excels at that
i don't need a phone to do SSH, i don't need the memory card if the phone already has 128GB of internal memory

The different fonts & colours don't complement each other. I'd make the box outlines thinner and play around with the colours scheme.
Nice colour. Try pixelated/8bit icon packs if you're going for a retro look
Icon pack is nice but looks like a clusterfuck cause of that wallpaper. Get something minimal and get rid of the icon labels
