Two-panel managers are the best, so Total Commander is nice too.
Dolphin (Yes, KDE runs on windows!)
There's a Metro Commander on the Store that's actually decent.

Windows Explorer + Listary
Windows Explorer + clover 3.0
freecommander is pretty good desu
anything else is useless
how?
I unironically prefer it over nautilus
The only true answer is Directory Opus Pro.
It is super expensive, but nothing compares to it. Not even file managers from other systems.
Jokes aside, the fact that you can click a folder 3 levels up, click like this to show any subfolder on a different path, and the fact that you can turn it into text for easy copy-pasting it's pretty good

Do you really need a file manager for playing video games?
Clover is very nice but it crashes often. I still use it but I'd never install it for a friend of family member.

Are there any alternative desktop window managers too?
i'd honestly kill myself if i had to use this piece of shit
Literally a file manager (dunno if its on wangblows though)
nautilus
oh wait
The one you made. Have you made one, haven't you?
Far Manager, duh.
Proper file manager should have 2 panels with integrated command line interface.
I'm using the Light version from the Humble Bundle.
I'm liking it.

Me too, seems solid.
I tried a bunch and found XYPlorer to be the best by far.
My only complaints about it are that the feature set can be kind of overwhelming at first and the theme-ing support is not great.
There's a free version, I think it's basically the same as the paid version except for some features you will probably never use.
ACDSee
Double Commander or Multi Commander.
Speed Commander is your willing to pay some money
Program called "Fences" cost 10 dollars.
I use Far Manager. It's free.
The way Windows handles that breadcrumb stuff is so good. Why can't any Linux file managers just copy that?
>People unironically install file managers and firewalls on Windows
what about for people who aren't autists
Where are the fucking tabs?
Clover explorer
>muh tabs
You're cancer that killing UI industry.
