Nope, it resides in storage dvd cady that can be swapped out in seconds. Never had to swap it out from day 1 though.

* reasonably fast servers (upload 400mbits+), not the "unlimited but with dialup speeds" bullshit
* more or less ok interface to browse that crap
cons:
* stores only h264/aac untouched, memeformats get butchered into youtube tire quality
* its joogle, so family videos are not advised
if you want general storage, then ACD works, but speeds tend to be bs.
