What to do?

Check to see the cable isn't unplugged slightly

Piss on the keyboard

Get new cable, check connections, possibly replace monitor

Replace video card. The mouse cursor wouldn't be visible if it was the monitor.

I was thinking the same, just gonna replace power cables.

Remove Linux from your hard disk and return to Windows.

Buy a MacBook Pro.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

install gentoo

So what am i supposed to do?
Remove linux or Install it?

I tried that but the problem persists.

Wait for the degauss to complete

End it all

Buy a new graphic card.

>no graphical glitches on the mouse
Reseat the RAM sticks.

I doubt linux is actually affecting it. It's probably something with the graphics card. If you can I would try some different hdmi cables.

Try a Hardware check from USB/CD. Could be the driver or the GPU.

let me guess, AMD card? because mine does the same sometimes, not to mention the occasional graphical glitches in games.

reinstall nvidia GFexperience.exe

Install Gentoo

linux has a lot of graphic driver corruption issues.

I used to use Mint and Cinnamon would randomly crash after several hours and I'd have the default X11 windows until I rebooted.

replace the PooMD card with a Nvidia

I don't have a GF

-Ddu
-Power off
-Check every cable, unplug and plug just to be sure it is properly connected
-try other/new cables if possible
-boot, install graphic drivers again

If not working be sure your PSU is capable of feeding the GPU.

If it doesn't work test new PSU/GPU.
If it doesn't work format and try again.
If it doesn't work test, CPU, mobo and RAM.

Test RAM before all the last steps, unplug& plug till you hear click.

Additionally test different RAM channels, or try to test with minimal ammount of RAM to test sticks one by one in different slots.

Put GPU in the oven.

buy new pc

THERE ARE NO GRAPHICAL GLITCHES ON THE CURSOR, WHY WOULD IT BE THE CABLE!??

This.

piss on the video card. Obviously not the cable since the mouse cursor looks fine

Happened to me a week ago. It turned out to be the graphics card.

I couldn't see the cursor tho, and happened also at the windows startup logo. Any mouse movement caused the screen to draw a trace of the movement.

You can still see the cursor, so it might be different

Had the same problem. Garbled screen but cursor visible. Turned out to be a problem with Windows 7 because the problem went away after I installed Windows 10.
