For some reason all of a sudden my mouse feels really small in my hand even though it was perfectly fine previously.
Scroll wheel has a lot of issues, most of them break or make noise and just don't function properly.

Is Corsair incapable of making a mouse with a rational shape? Everything they make looks like it's horrendous to hold
It changes your DPI while held down. It's much faster and easier than using a DPI up and down button on the fly while in the middle of a gun fight.
I use a relatively high DPI for FPS games, 1800. But when it comes to making distance shots or moving targets at some range, 1800 is way too high and makes you overshoot your target.
So I could be using 1800 normally with a 500 on the sniper button for when it's needed.

Try using something before commenting on its shape. Half the mice I love were shapes that I thought would suck before using them.
I've used the M65, which everyone says is their "safest" shape. I have no interest in the mouse with the phone dialpad on the left, and their new mouse has a very rigid set of DPI it can be set to. From everything I can gather they may as well be rebranding some cheap china OEM shit compared to brands like Steelseries or even Razer.

I use an m65, its okay as far as comfort. The right side has the pointy bit that isn't connected to the side of the mouse for some reason

Got a G502 recently, and I don't think I can ever go back to other 'regular' mice. I have huge hands, and this is the first mouse I don't need to fingertip all the time, and can occasionally palm. All of the extra frills and buttons are also great. Being able to bind stuff like music player controls, browser hotkeys and even some commonly used shortcuts on some other programs, while still having room left for more stuff because of G-Shift, is just too good. I was worried this would be a meme mouse, but it really is great.

G500 lasted me almost 3 years before most buttons would barely respond. G502 is definitely an improvement in all aspects except maybe for its looks, then again I use my mouse to click and not something to stare at, and if the trade off is the mouse being comfy and extra buttons being actually useful, I'd take ugly any day.

I switch DPI between games on the fly, I'm actually using the extra buttons all day, I can't live without the infinite scroll wheel mode which the G500 spoiled me, profile switching is something that I don't make much use of but it's definitely handy.
Other than that, if all you're looking for is the sensor it comes with, just take a look at other cheaper mice with the same one.
I too have a g500s, its amazing and I could never live without the voice button.

What are you looking for in a mice? If you want it mainly for games, then there are better choices if you just play FPS or MMOs, but for general use and general gaming genres, the G502 is amazing. After you get used to it and all of its extra features, it's really hard to go back to other mice. The infinite scroll wheel, the left and right scroll wheel buttons, the two extra easily accessible buttons on the left of LMB, and then the fact that you can add a modifier button that doubles the amount of stuff you can do with it, is just too good, and are things I personally haven't found in any other mice yet.
Had to replace a really old logitech mouse, but didn't really want to spend a lot and didnt want some flashy gaymer mouse.
Ended up buying the rival 100.
I've been using it for a month now and pretty content all around; would recommend.

This list is based on sensor performance first! Deathadder's have had the best sensor for quite a while. Some would still argue deathadder sensor is as good as the 3366/3360

I have used the g303 and g502 in games not only in the FPS genre, but also in RTS, MoBAs, MMOs and more, never did I 'misclick' a button, I'm not stupid not to remember the locations and I have muscle memory you fucking mongoloid Pajeet and it can be used beyond your vidya gayms.. You can even disable the macros if it bothers you so much, it has internal memory so you don't need to load the software every time.

Pretty much. The ability to keep it clean makes it far superior to the overwhelming majority of other mice on the market simply because nerd sweat is corrosive and clean grease, skin and the smell of failure out of plastic/rubber isn't fun.

Thinking about getting a logitech G600 now that my 4 year old RAT 5 exploded. I will definitely make use of the numpad of buttons on the mouse, but a friend said it's laser is less accurate in comparison to other gaming mice.
