How did I fuck up?

The operating system is pretty important.

What did you use to make the bootable drive?

Install Gentoo.

>KDE Neon download links are removed
What happened?

しね

dd, following these instructions:

What's the best viewer for mango and comics? I've been using mcomix fine, but it doesn't have infinite vertical scrolling. Reading through some cropped vertical panels has been really shitty.

Bump for similar interest
Well you fucked up the command. Use Rosa Image writer this time

zathura is usually good.

You want ahoviewer. Install ahoviewer.

kobo aura H20

The USB I was trying to write to was either sdb or sdb1, and I chose sdb1.

that's where you went wrong.
it should just be /dev/sdb

Hey Sup Forums, what's the best lightweight and user-friendly distro for daily use?

Can I try again with this USB, or is it broken?

About that memory usage I was wondering, it's possible to lower it after installation removing some boats? Mostly on Gnome. If not then maybe it's better if I give up Apricity and settle with Kubuntu.

this distro yes.... i helepd you you help me

Mint

Arch

It's not broken

Check your background applications from gnome-task manager. Remove the bloats afterwards

Kde is more heavy. Look into htop to see how much is actually used and how mhch is just reserved before buying into the ram memes.

T-Thanks I guess.
Here's a (You).
Would I need to config? Debian Sid's Zathura is super minimal.
I forgot about it, but I do build it every day. It doesn't have what I'm looking for and for some reason, it doesn't scroll with my arrow keys. I don't think it's ahoviewer's fault, but the problem is still there.
That looks nice. I already have a chinese tablet however. I think 8 american centimeters is tool small for mango, but that's just a preference.

Have a cute Hishiro in return.

stop namefagging

stop retardfagging

Hi /fglt/, I need your help finding a distro for a practically computer illiterate person. They only need it to browse facebook/instagram, watch netflix, use libre office, and download/play music.

Would ubuntu be best for this? I want it to be difficult for them to break anything on accident.

Linux Lite

As long as you configure it for them, explain stuff and stay available most would work. Debian stable, buntu lts...

Ubuntu LTS

is that a pepe meme? i heard pepe is a helpful guY! could you help this psoter?
>T-Thanks I guess.
Cool! help me back now mate! stop being nonhelpful!

it's actually perfect, display is the highest res of any ereader on the market (I think, it was not too long ago) and the backlight is perfect. It looks much better than any other digital display, has an SD card. It's like they made it specifically for manga and comics really.

Stop.

you have complete power over me
you can make me stop simply by helping me!

>it's actually perfect
It is not, user. I can't view anything in color unless it's color E-ink. I don't think that's going to be cheap anytime soon.

who reads colour mango?

It's not always color, but there is color sometimes. Covers and full color mango come from time to time.

pleaee consider helping....

Any one has experience with AMD's crossfire on Linux yet?

Thinking of getting a new build soon.

I actually did write a reply when I saw your first post but after you bumped your question twice in the time I was writing the reply I decided not to post.

Yes. I'll tell you if you reply to this question. Somehow I really doubt this 'mane'
You would've just posted it now if you were a good friendly poster but if that's not the case it's not like I really want an answer from someone of your kind.
I've also made it abundantly clear that I will not stop until I get an answer
well, the only condition is my death so yeah, not happening any time soon
keep on going though. I really believe you there's no reason to doubt you whatsoever

anyone? please? -_- :( --- my state now

Is gaming not a thing on linux simple because most devs don't cater to it? I mean, as far as drivers, proprietary stuff like DX and hardware support goes, if games were made to run on linux would they generally run just as well as they do on windows?

>tfw my internet is so shit captchas keeping timing out

It's not but if you answer this I'll make it a thing

Seems like the post got lost somewhere.

Here's my problem:

How should I go about making a hardened profile with desktop use flags? Should I just copy everything from my current profile to my make.conf or should I edit the hardened make.defaults?

Get out neckbear hehehe

How is AMDGPU/AMDGPU Pro on Linux? I've been running a 970 or more than a year, but I was eyeing for a better card + 120Hz 1440p monitor. Doing a sidegrade to a RX 480 is very silly, but I'm curious on how it fares to see what I could expect from Vega or Navi. For instance, can you plays your gaymes with no problems? How about emulation? Nvidia has the superior drivers, there's no doubt, but I'd still like to know some external sources outside phoronix for AMD.

>120Hz 1440p monitor
pick one

see if your not going to help than see look at

Why? Can I not run a 1440p high refresh monitor? The one I'm eyeing is a 144Hz IPS with freesync.

export PS1="\n\[\e[1;31m\]\A \w \[\e[0m\]\n "

is the grammar correct?

Well there are many videos regarding gaming on Linux. But the most plausible thing is to passthough GPU

Can you give me some good monitors as examples?

You can
Now see Yes it is indeed correct is that C?
also pls see sure
here's one good monitor

>But the most plausible thing is to passthough GPU
I'll eventually do it, but given that I'm still on a 3570k, it's not happening anytime soon. Maybe I'll upgrade to Zen if it's worth it or Skylake-E.

>Can you give me some good monitors as examples?
Pixio PX277.

>Pixio
Is this some chink shit?

Yes. It's Chinese.

hey guys can you see my posts?
yeah so pls look at

When is zen coming

I believe so. They use a similar Acer panel as their own and put on huge bezels.

kek I was looking for a wide screen Monitor, ended up with a chink TV instead

top kek! i just top kek'd so hard hehe!
pls --->

I'm getting tired of reporting. I'll accept the red for admitting it, go for it.

>caring about a manchild

better stock up on some painkillers you are gonna be hitting that button a lot
>implying your not a manchild
>implying being a manchild is something bad
