What's the purpose of this?
To store files
meh I consider that normal because I buy at costco
Well, it's a video complaining about how
disproportionately large the product package is, so it's prupose is to complain about how
disproportionately large the product package is.
128gb is just big and cheap enough for normies not to dismiss it so they enlarge the packaging to make the product presence bigger. It's the same reason why toothpaste boxes are holographic.
ahahahahahahahahahhahaha
It's for jumping
This.
It probably has more to do with preventing shoplifting. If they made it pocket sized it would just walk out of the store.
That would make sense but the more expensive higher capacity jumpdrive later shown in the video has regular sized packaging.
Security tags are typically smaller than a USB anyway, so why all the useless cardboard?
Just like with a lot of things, noon has gone around to changing things.
>128gb is just big and cheap enough for normies not to dismiss
>so they enlarge the packaging to make the product presence bigger
huh?
"jump drive"
There's plenty of ways to get around security tags. Foil lined pockets and bags are a known favorite of shoplifters.
They probably make both capacities with both both types of packaging and James just happened to get one of them in one type of packaging and the other in the other type.
:^)
...
Not a bad shoop, only slightly visible.
>do a quick search
>128gb usbs can now be bought for $25 new on ebay by actual brands (not copies)
what da fugg, when did this happen
tfw your life has become monotonous, but the rest of the world passes you by
Cardboard is cheap and a bigger shelf presence catches the eye. You don't have to be in marketing to figure this shit out.
shelf space isn't cheap
Not a shoop at all, just Germans being fucking weird.
So, what does it do?
People are more inclined to steal a lesser product under the assumption it will be more likely to go unnoticed. Even when the act requires the same amount of effort as a more expensive counterpart.
Gives you High Definition water
Full HD per litre H20 to video output obviously
Its just a german gag toy.
Verbindung zu h2o, it says clearly on the package.
>tfw bought a used 128gb on Amazon for $13
>0815 preview
top jej
It has to be some kind of joke product/gag gift.
The only other explanation is to create a seal on an hose or something to run HDMI outdoors? Like the hose end has a female HDMI in and the cable then seals around a hose or some shit to form a makeshift conduit.
>That would make sense but the more expensive higher capacity jumpdrive later shown in the video has regular sized packaging.
the smaller packaged products will be stored in yet bulkier acrylic cases or behind the counter rather than being on the shelf
the huge tough cardboard is purely there to deter people from walking away with it in a pocket, make it more obvious that it's being placed in a bag, and to prevent people from tearing the usb out of the packaging
I've never seen such obnoxiously large packaging, the cheap drives use the same small packaging and all the expensive drives are stored on shelves behind counters
Maybe they use the same machine to package a lot of shit?
ITT: people who have never stepped inside a costco or sam's club
Well, what do expect from poorfags? People here aren't even from middle-class. Except you.
but costco is free to enter if you shop there enough
What does that have to do with anything? I get Sam's for free with my Amex card.
i'm a costco fag but doesn't sams have their electronics at the entrance? have you ever seen how they sell small electronics such as flash drives and external phone batteries?
HDMI cables, especially installation-grade, originally were only available with an extremely thick jacket to protect the actual copper wires on the inside from becoming damaged at sharp-radius bends in an installation. This would lead to technicians referring to these thick HDMI cables as "garden hoses".
so it's more difficult for people to steal
But the bigger drives have smaller packaging
