shameless bump
Buy it fag
no u
The i5-6600K is $170, if you buy it and an LGA1151 motherboard you get $30 off the motherboard. I'm not shilling I actually just grabbed the combo :| My DDR3 system died 2 months ago
waiting for zen
This
this one.
checked.
Too fucking bad I'm upstateNY and already have 6600k
So if I just bought one of these for 200, what's to stop me from buying one at this price and returning it as the one in question?
meant a 6600k
>Le AMD wait meme
Same
>there is no Microcenter in your state
>there will never BE a microcenter in your state
>even if there were a microcenter in your state, it would be a several hour drive to get there
Microcenter aren't filled with retards, they check every product
Does this mean Kaby is out on Dec 5th?
Hardly le ebbin me-me, if Zen is flop we'll all just buy Intel, if anyone thinks Intel CPUs are going to go up in value between now and then are sorely mistaken.
Kaby Lake will fuck Zen.
Seeing as how the 6core and 8core cpus have been a complete flop for gaming I highly doubt the the 4cores will go down in value any time soon. If anything they may go up because of the crazy cost of the 6/8core cpus.
Friggin heck
Why do I have to live in Canada.
$305 6600k
$450 6700k
Frig off Trudeau
What the hell is going on?
I paid 250 euros for non K 6600 4 months ago.
Fuck... I wish there was a Micro Center in fucking Miami.
They always have the best deals.
>hey people aren't buying are really expensive hellacore CPUs we better raise the price of thel more reasonably priced quads
Why would they want even less sales?
How?
It's no different from skylake
>euros
found the problem :^)
It's not that people don't buy it because it's too expensive. It's that people don't buy it because benchmarks show it to have less than 1-5% at best performance increase with games. The majority of games being less than 1 fps from a 6700k.
>hellacore
Got me
Considering AMD is a good 3-5 years behind even with Zen, then thats good enough
>using monopoly money
>in-store only
>in store only
>gonna cost me gas money to get there
>only thing with a worthy price cut is the processor
nah
>living in a shitty place
>equivalent to £210
>tfw cheapest UK price is £340/$420
I'd ship one to you if we arranged something
When they sell a CPU or motherboard they take down your name as well as the serial number of the CPU/MB
Actually microcenter also cuts $40 off the motherboard if you buy them together.
My microcenter is 13 mins away
I have one ~30 minute walk away or about a 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic.
Shit's pretty cash, I got my 5820k from there around a year ago for like $290.
So will Sky lake...
...and Broadwell and Haswell and maybe even Ivy Bridge.
Your lowest price for a 6600k converted to Canadian dollars is actually more expensive than what I'm paying.
Technically I'm paying $226 USD while your lowest price on pcpartpicker is $235
However when you take into account how much money we make here in Canada it costs less for you.
My grandparents will be putting another ~$50,000 into CAD this year I guess.
Every time CAD drops under ~0.75 to 1 USD they put some money up there, and every time it's rebounded back to ~0.85+ to 1 within a few years and they make a decent profit.
CAD is related to oil prices.
I remember back a couple years ago it was hovering on par with USD for a solid while because oil prices were high. Then the prices lowered and here we are again. Thing is its not Trudeaus fault, he just hasn't done anything beneficial to the economy since Harper left.
Everyone is already buying intel you nignog
>buy z170 board and i5 6400
>1 week later: you can now overclock non-k skylake
feels good i got perfect price-performance
Doesn't it ruin the temperature censors?
no, it works perfectly fine, just need to install the right bios
purchase one with discover card, price match black friday ad, laugh as fools fight over limited stock on black friday morning
Intel hasn't made an arch better than sandybridge
so intel HASN'T improved in 5 years
Fuck. I'm waiting for a decent sale on this in Canada.
Jokes on you. Discover price protection excludes computer parts.
wow im only 400 miles from my nearest microcenter
>tfw 5 minutes away from a micro center
>tfw microcenter is 2 hours away
im gonna be using that 40 dollars I saved for gas
>Tfw no place price matches Microcenter anymore
my local Frys specifically excluded shit from there becausw of all the people doing it
did they change it this year?
Fuck, I just bought the non K version
You're gonna regret it down the line
t.4590 owner
a-at least I saved 20 bucks.
...
this, zen will make computers great again
Zen will be mildly disappointing and lag just far enough behind Intel to draw the occasional anti-Intel protest purchase.
Bought a 6600k from them. Even with $12 tax its still almost $50 cheaper than anywhere else.
Just like the 480 :P
More expensive and weaker than 1060s.
Literally just picked up a 6600k, Z170 board and 8 gig kit of DDR4 from Microcenter for like $250. They were selling 6700k's for less than a 6700 non k.
>Buying anything other than gas with a credit card
I JUST BOUGHT AN i5 6600K A MONTH AGO FOR THE SAME PRICE
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
...
Enjoy your 600 credit score you 16 year old
Is this worth buying plus a new mobo?
t. i5 4690k owner, getting tired of the sub 40 fps that I get constatly in Guild Wars 2.
techpowerup.com
>91W
>dual core
>$177
hahahahahahahahaha.
somebody call nine wan wan.
will Zen be using AM3+?
AM4
>mfw this costs over 360€ in my country
that's your GPU's problem ya dingus
fuck
Gpu is an r9 390, guild wars relies on the cpu way too much cause of shitty dev optimization.
a'ight haven't played in like 2 years so mostly talking out of my ass
I tried to reserve a cpu and mobo and the site advertises 18 minutes to clear it. That was around 10pm. Do they not send confirmations at night when they're closed because systems aren't automated or did I lose out because the mobo I wanted, because now it is out of stock according to their site. I live in southern california, to clarify.
>processor with Intel's Management Engine backdoor
Who cares?
