foobar?
I can do that.
Yes
what sort of retarded metadata do you have on your jpop that you can't just do
ffmpeg -i $weebshit -ab 320k -map_metadata 0 -id3v2_version 3 ${weebshit%flac}mp3
why the fuck would you do that? FLAC is superior audio format
KYS
In what way is it superior? Please tell me you aren't using it for listening.
what are you doing with the mp3's?
My entire music collection on my computer is FLAC, but I'll use Foobar's Quick Convert to OGG when I want to put a few songs on my Sansa Clip (just to save save, even though it plays FLAC natively) and I don't really give a damn if I'm losing metadata or not because I just choose music on that device by song name in folder view
ofc I am, why wouldn't I?
it's free and lossless, what else would you need
the only problem with FLAC is the filesize but it shouldn't matter nowadays when we have huge cheap storages
As long as you don't explain how to do it to someone who never used foobar or ffmpeg your knowledge is useless
My phone has only 64gb of storage and for casual listening with no advanced equipment mp3 is more than enough
>OP has a "problem" that he doesn't want to manually research how to solve because he's retarded
>posts insulting post on here to let the angry idiots provide a solution for him
How naive can you be?
I'll second this, it is superior in every way, I can tell clarity even on my cheap ass marley earbuds through my phone while Im working, and when you plug it into a decent stereo with surround (even aux) you can tell the clarity difference
I wish it was the new standard
>there are so many formats nothing is a standard
>your digital music is kill in x years because no one will support backwards compatibility
as dumb as that sounds, unless there is something universal a lot of media will die.. eventually
Convert to opus, dude.
the problem is that I can't tell if this is bait or if the placebo effect has you under its spell.
just to calm my autism, no you can't tell the difference between lossless and (good) lossy with any sort of equipment
Is it supported by poweramp?
No idea. I use VLC on my phone and it plays opus just fine.
dbpoweramp you absolute fucking retard
>[current year]
>mp3
>metadata
You're telling me you're seriously not using the one and only proper way to organize music, namely folder view.
if u is in windows, u 2 use flacsquisher to trans 2 opus ogg or mp3
thx
>flac into mp3
>not ogg
>not aac
>not opus
>but fucking mp3
fre:ac
foobar2000 is really good about keeping metadata across conversion, even with ALAC (which is notoriously bitchy about keeping metadata)
Also mp3tag is good for tagging en masse
