Why aren't you using Opera right now?

At work I'm using it. Playing some youtube viseo in the corner while writing code is a godsent feature.

Fuck you OP

I was just about to post this thread

proly going to after chrome just forced material design crap on everyone

built by the chiners

How does that matter.

Tell me, and show me evidence on why it affects you.

No 64-bit or Chromecast support.

Because it's slow webmshare.com/play/LX38L

Because I'm using Chrome on Ubuntu GNU/Linux.

is it free as in freedumbs?

Is it still based on chrome? botnet?

64 bit version?

Firefox just works

what the fuck is this?

Because it call back to chinknet every 10 minutes.

Why the fuck should I use opera?

Your opinion being discarded

but what the fuck is this? This is some random number generator or what?

Your opinion is now officially discarded

KEK. Your stupid site is pointless dribble. Go fuck yourself.

>all hope of shilling
>discarded

>not using the anti-botnet instead

sending your data to chinese jews

>source
>my ass

Fuck off it's shit.

thanks for correcting my almonds

I use brave on my phone. It's responsive, quick, stable and ad-free.

>paid ads
No.

Is the built in ad blocker better than uBlock? Faster?

>faster
yes
>better

Idk, but I've not missed it.

I think there's this built in test for speed vs. effectiveness built in it if you want to check it out

>built-in adblocker
>what is a hosts file

>VPN
lol

>slow connections
What year is this? 1Gbps is standard here

a.) closed-source. There is zero reason for a browser to be closed source. What are they hiding, anyway?
b.) The "VPN" isn't really a VPN, it's just a proxy server. It gives you no real guarantees of privacy or strong crypto.
c.) Opera owns an ad company. Do they whitelist anything in their ad blocker? They certainly have an incentive to. This is the same conflict of interest that ABP and Brave suffer from.
d.) >visiting youtube
in a few short years they've managed to make a video service more vapid and content-free than broadcast television. Bravo.

Yet it is still the best, most balanced and best performing browser out now

I am using Opera now, but only because all other browsers are even more shitty.

Opera commited suicide by moving past ver 10 and to Chromium, removing all its convenient features and generally moving in shitty direction.

I use it because i am used to it after all those years, and as said - the rest is even worse: but its shadow of what it once was. Let alone missing majority of great features it had and very slowly reintroducing them - its now bloated memory eating unstable mess.

It's proprietary software

>b.) The "VPN" isn't really a VPN, it's just a proxy server. It gives you no real guarantees of privacy or strong crypto.
It was never its intent though. The point always was that it compresses images/webpages reducing bandwitch streamed to your PC while browsing. It was essential back in days of slow internet and later mobile. It was never positioned as proper VPN.

>built-in adblocker
which is shit when compared to a real one
>VPN and proxy for slow connections
ill give you VPN but I dont use VPN enough to give a shit.
>the ability to play Youtube videos in a dedicated window
Safari has PiP for youtube and most other sites

So its something thats not a VPN, doesn't offer the security benefits that people use VPNs for, and is in fact meant for an entirely different purpose.

Why then would they call it a VPN, except to try and deliberately mislead people?

lmao when i used to use firefox if i had two youtube tabs open the entire browser would freeze up and i had to restart it.

firefox hasnt been good for years.

ff is better

>not using the superior otter browser rebuild
dropped

What software license is it released under, firefox is MPL

CPL - Cuck Public License

>outdated browser for soundcloud
kys

how much ram does chrome eat on ubuntu?

Currently 1.2G/8G with 4 tabs open.

Because everytime I got an email notification it crashed

i have firefox on win 10 and it takes ~500MB for 7 tabs.

Botnet.
