The memory you linked is ddr3l, whih stands for low voltage. That model laptop takes ddr3, but ddr3l should be able to run at the higher voltage with no issue. That should be fine.
Bentley Campbell

instead of spamming the one thread trying to push the rest of the bullshit off of Sup Forums, why don't you spam the other ones you fucking faggot
Tyler Moore
Budget my nigga.
Zachary Sanchez
There are so many youtube videos on the internet for how to build yourself. It's more legos now than every before, especially if you don't want to overclock. It will save you a good amount of money as well.
Andrew Perry
Is the Asus Transformer t100ha worth buying as a cheap mobile PC, or are there better alternatives at that price point?
Nathaniel Hill
around 800 give or take 100$
saw this sale on new egg not sure if its junk or not
im not worried about puting it together. i dont have an understanding of each part to get and what’s good if that makes sense
Matthew Carter
It's not terrible parts wise but you can do better for roughly the same money.
Do you care about amd or nvidia preference when it comes to the graphics card?
Levi Harris
I am in need of a printer.
I want cheaply available ink (or toner) and reasonably accurate resolution, coloration, font kerning, and whatever other measures of quality there are for printers.
Which printer should I get?
Jeremiah Williams
is there a difference?
Lincoln Taylor
Great, just what Sup Forums needed. More consumerism.
For this holiday, I'm gonna buy a sandwich.
Matthew Sanders
price/performance, color red vs color green.
since you don't really know than no, not really, you're just looking for the best bang for your buck. i'll see if i can toss some shit together for you.
Justin Phillips
With $800-900 he could squeeze a 1070 in there, that's the point where nvidia starts having no competition
Isaac Perry
well thanks for helping out
Jaxson Fisher
Buy a laser printer. Your toner cartridges will be more expensive but they will last you for tousands of pages and won't fucking dry up if you don't use them constantly either.
Inkjets are a fucking meme, you either print enough that inkjets are not worth it, or you print so little that your cartridges dry up and prematurely fail. They're also slow, shit quality, terrible at printing stuff like photos etc., and in general just worthless consumer garbage.
Buy a used laser printer from back before planned obscolescence if you can, and it will last you a lifetime.
Elijah Stewart
Depending on what you're doing and what your requirements are there can be a big difference.
Thomas Rodriguez
I believe that most of the threads here revolve around making an informed purchase, and that makes this general pointless. Discussion on this board revolves around comparing one piece of technology to another, so even if the thread is seemingly only about one piece of technology it will be discussed in the context of the current market. Your decision to post this could have pushed off a thread with some value. Next time please give your decision to create a new thread a second thought.
Jack Davis
mostly gaming/ light video editing
John Smith
>im not worried about puting it together. i dont have an understanding of each part to get and what’s good if that makes sense Don't worry, neither do the people selling prebuilt PCs
Henry Fisher
Well in that case you'd want a good CPU, maybe one with hyperthreading if your programs can use it, which would be hard to fit a 1070 in with. If you're at 1080p, the GTX 1060 or RX 480 would be good for you, the 480 has gotten better lately and would be a good gpu choice, and you'd have some more money to work with the rest of the parts
Jeremiah Cooper
Windows I assume? If so I doubt you will notice a difference, go for whichever one has the best value / covers your needs. Make sure to factor in the price of electricity as well if you plan on using it heavily.
Colton Lee
If you could pull off a 1070/6700k build then go for it, but I think a 1070/6600k or 480/6700k build would be good Stick with the K CPUs imo, the non-k CPUs are barely any savings anyways, the z170 motherboard needed is more expensive but you can overclock in a few years for free performance You could go X99 motherboard so you could get a ballin CPU but that's really expensive, especially ballin cpus
Blake Martin
the problem is im not really sure what this stuff means
Dylan Diaz
as far as tossing together a comparable system, you're really getting a similar price here either way it seems. i tried to build this exact same system and got roughly the same price. It's really just preference as to whether you want to build it yourself, or change things like the case to make it look however you want. But that one you linked is not a bad buy.
Connor Johnson
Google you fucking scrub, it's just products at stores I'm literally telling you what to look up
Isaiah Howard
is a brand new (old stock) xfx 290x 8gb for 290$ even remotely worth it? rx 480 8gb prices around here with a custom cooler hover at about 300$+.
Gabriel Nguyen
ballin means very good, successful or ostentatious
Lucas Morales
oh ok, well thanks. my next question is should i get it now or wait to see if there will be any better Christmas
Eli Richardson
>6600k >H110 motherboard >no SSD Now that I look at it, it's a 480/6600k build, definitely isn't bad but the no SSD and non-overclockable motherboard is kinda dumb
Blake Moore
Looking for a tablet to browse Sup Forums and watch videos in bed
Julian Harris
These are all sales leading up to christmas, so i doubt the deal will get better than this. Chances are that sale will actually end soon, so if you have the money and it looks good, i'd scoop it up now.
Zachary Cook
>no SSD it has one for bootup + 2tb for storage.
Chase Peterson
These are things a good smartphone can do fine. How big a screen is your phone and how big do you want the tablet to actually be?
Jaxon Gutierrez
I need a 50inch+ 1080p 60mhz LED tv with at least 2 hdmi ports
Aaron Scott
>Sale Ends in 3 Days (Mon) that's what your link says. you have 3 days to decide.
Owen Ramirez
stocks man, esp ones that pay dividends, they are gifts that keep on giving
Brandon Harris
i found a couple more things on sale if you interested in cheking them out
Is Zotac the go-to brand for Nvidia? I have an older from them but I don't know if they're still good. I hear mixed things about MSI and ASUS so I want to make a safe purchase.
Joseph Thomas
first one is shite i'll say that right now. that graphics card is trashola.
second one is shite for the price. the graphics card that comes with it over the first one you showed for 800 is vastly inferior. you'd get so much more out of the first one.
Zachary Smith
zotac "wants" to be the go to, but evga will never be beat.
evga > msi > zotac > gigabyte
Gabriel Davis
don't buy asus.
Grayson Campbell
EVGA still had shitty cooling though.
Alexander Turner
Had. Every reference card has shitty cooking. I have the sc 1070 with the dual fans and it sits idle at 30c at most. Games never push it higher than 60.
Logan Richardson
It's the ACX 3.0 that has the heating problems. The SC and FTW 1070 and 80 were the ones catching fire.
Adrian Parker
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My machine has been fine. Absolutely zero issues.
Hunter Bell
Want to buy a TV around 18-32 inches for a present for someone who currently watches movies on a laptop. Smart features a plus (netflix) and 720p is perfectly fine. Maybe chink shit that would arrive by christmas.
Can I do better than pic related? I looked on craigslist and it's all people trying to sell their 5 year old walmart shit for $200. Would probably need a chromecast (or equivalent) because this person would never use it if they had to hook it up to the laptop every use.
I guess a computer monitor would work too but then you don't get the TV tuner.
Matthew Phillips
>18-32 inches
buy a sceptre. those things are super cheap and great quality for the price.
pair this with a chrome cast or some other streaming stick and you're gold.
Gavin Wood

that's just walmart in general.
Isaiah Harris
I keep asking, but thoughts on Asus transformer t100ha as budget mobile 2in1? Will use for streaming videos, microsoft office , and potentially light multi tasking.
Liam Rogers

Aiden Baker
looking to replace my 35.gigamemes 970 with something a bit beefier. whats the current best card for 1080p that doesn't require a mortgage to purchase?
Henry Garcia
I saw that earlier, but any particular reason why? I don't expect much from a sub 300 USD 2in1, but I do expect it to work.
Any ideas on alternatives?
Carter Wright
poo in loo and general engrish customer service that will give you the absolute run around trying to rma anything if you need to. if you need tech support, you're essentially fucked.
Dylan Parker
Oooooh that makes sense. Any alternatives for near the same price then? Sorry for sounding like a broken record by the way.
Brandon Phillips
msi if you don't want to go full evga. evga is such an excellent safety net though it's worth the 10-20 buck increase for brand name alone.
Parker Baker
Thanks, will look into both.
Jordan Gomez
My mouse recently started malfunctioning. I've never bought one that wasn't packaged with a computer, so I know never very little about mice in general. Is there anything solid for me in the $25-30 range? Also, I use the palm grip.
Owen Robinson
How many buttons + how ricer do you want it to look
Charles Garcia
Just a regular 3-button for me. I'm not going to place a lot of value on how it looks but I'll admit that I do like colors.
Andrew Perez
Steelseries rival 100
Has more than 3 buttons but it's got an excellent sensor and good build quality
Andrew Bennett
I have no questions but I'm assuming someone might ask about surface pro 4 or 3
The only advice I got for anyone wanting to buy either: you better get that bitch with 8 gb of ram or just kill yourself.
Pic related, using it for 1 year and wishing I would of spent more on 8 gb of ram
Parker Cruz
Saw that they made a purple one of these and bought it immediately. Thank you!
Jonathan Rodriguez
# Glad i could help.
>Informed purchase >Surface Pro
Top keck m8
Brody Scott
1060 6gb may only be a marginal upgrade, but 1070 is a 1440p card
buying amd is the opposite of an "informed purchase"
in any case you shouldn't need to upgrade anyway if you only need 1080p60
Ian Hughes
1070, if you don't consider 400 expensive, less than that, rx 480
