Actually the worst case scenario would be you get the laptop and the first time you power it up the damned thing explodes in your face, kills you instantly, then sets fire to everything around you potentially killing others in the process.

Think about it - it's ~$20 for a reason.

Seller accepts no returns (that should be the only red flag you need), there's something wrong with the laptops either stolen or damaged somehow, report for inspection on eBay and move on. It's not worth the hassle
