Any gaymerz use magicforce? Worth getting? I'm new to this and I'm reading stuff about no n-roll over and don't know if this should be a concern.

Artisans are for faggots.

third for topre is shit

most rubber dome keyboards have 2kro, so if you've been gaming on those then it shouldn't be a problem. Since modifiers don't count towards the limit, 6kro (which is what magiforce has) is more then enough.

Leopold fc660c or realforce?

Anybody used both? How are the switches? What are your feelings about them?

Rate the build quality of all boards you've owned.

Filco MJ2 > Topre Realforce 87U > WASD V2 = Rosewill RK-9000 > KBParadise V80

The Leopold looks way better than the Realforce

Ducky Shine 3 > Corsair K90

Yeah, that's a given and it's pretty much nothing compared to some people. I'm getting myself a Poker 3 RGB soon though.

Lubing Topre:
Is it safe to use Finish Line Extreme Fluro on the sliders or should I go with something less viscous?
I'm not interested in trying Krytox because it separates.
Ducky Pocket

Model M > Tada68 > Novatouch = KC60 > Quickfire Rapid > Pok3r (Case was bent, returned, pretty nice build other than that)

Still waiting on my Model F.

Keycaps:

GMK > Originative PBT > Pok3r Keycaps > SP DSA > Coolermaster Keycaps

Waiting for SP SA Godspeed and XDA Keycaps

Anyone have a WASD CODE keyboard? I want to get one but wondering if it's worth the $150.

The Anne Pro has Gateron switches and different coloured cases for just $80. Is it worth paying the extra to get the Vortex Poker? I figure there has to be a catch somewhere.

>Anne Pro
Pok3r probably has nicer build quality, but it has limited programmability. Something to consider.

I have the full-size version with greens. The board itself is great, with very solid build quality. The stock keycaps, not so much. I replaced them and never looked back. If I bought another WASD board, I think I'd get the bare-bones V2 instead, since I ended up using caps without transparent legends.

Got a v2 with clears, very solid board. backlight is nice, media buttons are well laid out, can't complain about much aside from the caps not being the best, but I expected to replace them anyways.

Royal Glam case came in, senpai

I have a TKL with greens and it's been my daily driver for a while. Replace the stock keycaps, maybe the case if you've got some budget (though the stock one is perfectly serviceable), and it's a beautiful board.

...

(pictures are mostly potatomode and I've since flipped the spacebar)

Thanks for the info guys. Do you have any recommendations for the keycaps that I should replace them with?

I would personally go for something doubleshot PBT, but doubleshot PBT with shinethrough is a notorious bitch to actually get ahold of if you want to preserve the CODE's backlighting.

And PBT's nice because the oils from your fingers don't shine that shit up like they do ABS.

I know the look and I'd take leopold with no hesitation.
The problem is where i live I could get any Realforce with no imports or go for leopold for similar price but add ~28% customs and taxes.

Thus my hesitation.

where are you from?

so when is the ducky pocket getting released?

Poland.
I can buy any Realforce from UK (shop in the ops link)
while the only reasonable leopold found is on ebay - sent from Korea.

candykeys and mykeyboard will both have leopolds in stock soon, shipping from germany and belgium

Help me /mkg/

Keyboard is for normie friend of mine, so no meme keyboards.

>Budget
< £70 preferably
>Location (continent at least)
UK
>Preferred switch type
Cherry MX blues or similar (apparently gateron are good)
>Layout
UK qwerty
>Form factor
Would be going on a large desk but nothing extreme, probably needs a numpad.
>Backlight
Not prefered.
>Previous/current keyboards
£2 bargain bin stuff

Sorry if i've buggered up your format. I've only recently got into this whole new fangled mechanical keyboard thing.

Filco Majestouch > Packard Bell 5130

It's good to know that even after months away from these threads, Needlessly /k/ user is still here doing his thing.

Wow mate thanks a lot!

I see these stores for the first time it's
mykeyboard.eu and candykeys.com yes?
Any idea on how soon?
I HAVE to have it delivered before 20th of february.

>Budget
$180, less preferred
>Location (continent at least)
USA! USA!
>Preferred switch type
Cherry MX Red or Blue
>Layout
ANSI
>Form factor
Full size w/ numpad
>Backlight
Don't care. Gaymer rice annoys me, though.
>Previous/current keyboards
Dell Latitude E5540 laptop keyboard, Sager NP6370 laptop keyboard

>ESTIMATED ARRIVAL DATE OF KEYBOARD 01-2017
I'd say it's the same for both sites since I assume they both get shipments from the same batch produced at Leopold.

DUCKY POCKET
I want one

Shit, this might work.
I owe you.

I'm about to order topres for the third time and I'm probably gonna be disappointed a third time

Stop falling for the meme nigga.

Will O-Rings turn my brown switches into mashed potatoes?

Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
Fool me thrice - what a fucking moron.

What's the point in tactile switches if I bottom-out all the fucking time, anyway?

Depending on the thickness, durometer rating, and keycaps you use, maybe. Assuming you're just using regular oem/cherry profile caps, it'll make the bottom out softer.

Filco's are so fucking overpriced, jesus.

i want a Ducky One TKL or POK3R

and what's not in this hobby?

What's disappointing about them?
Which have you bought so far?

why the fuck key clack shipping is 30usd?

I'm not someone who bottoms out so typing on the them just feels a bit awkward even though the individual keys are super satisfying to press. I tried the Novatouch both times.

>filco is overpriced
If anyone is buying filco when they could be getting Leopold they are wrong.

Is there a place where I can buy german keycap sets (TKL, standard mx style)? I specifically want ones that have see through text, so I can see my rgb leds under them.

...

...

> No windows key
> 2 key ro
> Huge

>No windows key
Because it came out before windows, duh.

>fat bezels

I don't need a Windows key and that has NKRO.

What's so much better about the Leopold? Filco's meant to be solid in terms of build quality, right?

Does the Anne pro use the default mounting points for the case?

If you mean whether it uses the same mounting points as the Vortex Poker and other 60% keyboards, then no. But you might be able to get away with only mounting two screws.

What is the cheapest topre board, and it it good quality

>£40 for this
I know nothing about keyboards, but wanna go mechanical. Would I regret this purchase?

>Budget
Under €125
>Location
Belgium (so German, French or Dutch sites are fine)
>Preferred switch type
Black/Brown
>Layout
QWERTY
>Form factor
Tenkeyless or 60% (I have limited desk space)
>Backlight
Not necessary
>Previous/current keyboards
Logitech k120 (got it for 5 euros over 1.5 years ago)

Need some recommendations plz

The Type Heaven is decent except for it's ABS keycaps.
A Cherry board around that price would have that kind of keycap too.

realforce type heaven
no idea how good it is

Where can i get fancy MICRO usb cables that are over 1 meters long

Leopold has similar build quality. But comes with thicc pbt keys and is cheaper.

Any downsides to ducky keyboards

Looking for a 60% keyboard for typing
Have cherry browns but feel they are a bit light.

Should I go for browns again, or try blacks?

Pok3r with mx clears

Pexon or Mimic.

That delete key is a weird looking size. You would have trouble if you ever wanted to change your keycaps at least with that key I bet.

Is thickish lube good for Topre sliders?

Ducky Zero is good.

kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_30637.html?gclid=CjwKEAiA17LDBRDElqOGq8vR7m8SJAA1AC0_BcOj-AWFA5ZUInKTF7wPff1uSxwbeP9nMJLqrJqZ7RoCfTrw_wcB

>Budget
Cheap as possible but can spend £300

>Location (continent at least)

>Preferred switch type
MX Browns or Blues

>Layout

>Form factor
Split. Don't mine 60% or anything like that.

>Backlight
Dont mind.

Ducky Zero with Browns

What's the cheapest cherry brown keyboard with the mexican key layout?

>Budget
No more than $100 USD, less if possible

>Location
Mehico

>switch
cherry brown

>Layout
Mexican

>form
tenkeyless

>backlight
don't care

>previous keyboards
shitty normie keyboards and then T420 and T430 keyboards.

I got my new magic force with blue switches and even though some of you guys don't like the otemoo switches, this is probably the best keyboard I have ever had. Especially considering it is my first mechanical.

Hey /mkg/ I'm torn between buying an MX cherry blue keyboard to customize or to just order shit from unicomp to customize pic related

Get the buckling spring if you want more tactility.

otemoo? aren't magicforce kbs gats or cherries?

also welcome 2 do k0ol(poor)kidz club

first thing you should do, as i did, is replace the godawful keycaps!

How available are keycaps with subtle visual textures on them (like marble/granite/leather etc.)? Are they just a lot more difficult to manufacture than solid colors?

They come in cherry mx official and gaterons
but if you pay cheaper it comes with otemoo.
I will. It might take a bit, but do you think miami
keycaps would be good?

How are cooler master mechs in general? Good build quality?

Any reason not to get a Ducky One w/PBT and blues?

Seems good with that price for PBT caps

QuickFire Rapid's okay, Novatouch is my workboard, and my coworker really likes his Masterkey M.

There are better options in the price range.
Quickfires are just rebanded Filcos, avoid.

>mechanical calculator
I'm definitely making me one of those.

you got the gold yeah? tho im not sure if your's is backlit or not, but TaiHao miami is available rn in unikeyboard i unikeyboard.io/product/taihao-pbt-doubleshot-miami-keycaps/

but yeah man with that gold back drop that's miami af

It was unveiled last year at CES and was supposed to come out 6 months ago, but it looks like we have to wait until then end of 2017

Filco M2, or the convertible if you want a wireless keyboard,
or
Ducky One with PBT keycaps for like a hundred bucks

Try Ducky keycaps. They pretty much have every language availible

Any Ducky TKL keyboard really. They are like €80
alternate.be/html/product/listing.html?navId=18901&tk=7&lk=10194

masterkeys>k70

From personal experience, keys that aren't transparent look good with backlighting.

They have their stupid ugly logo on the windows key. Otherwise I don't think you'll find a keyboard with a steel plate, PBT dye-sub keycaps, and macro support for 100 bucks.

My Masterkeys Pro is nice. No problems with lights but they're not RGB.

Although a switch did break a few days ago when pulling off a keycap, so I have to replace it.

Got Logitech G410 to enter the club.
Am I cool yet?

No. Logitech couldn't make a decent mechanical keyboard if the fate of the world depended on it.

they can't even make good mice anymore either. everything breaks

>omron switches
Ouch, and for 130 bucks too
No thanks I'd much rather get a shine 3/4 if I want a TKL

pls tell me you didn't buy it for 130$
