Alright guys, looking for some advice. Got some pretty good open box prices for these cards and was wondering which one would be the best bang for the buck. Mainly interested in using it with VR and being able to supersample.
980ti: $260-290
1070: $300-330
1080: $500

Bentley Brooks
this and see what it benches at or get a 1060 right now.
Everything else is overpriced.
Hudson Wood
if you can actually find a 980ti for $260 then it is by far the best.
Samuel Rivera
even before vega hits the shelves?
Gavin Diaz
also what is the upper limit for what i should pay for a 980ti?
Lucas Morris
Fury X @ 250-270 bucks.
David Cook
vega certainly will rekt nvidia, only if amd don't do something retarded like pricing it above 350
Liam Baker
>Fury X dosent the 980ti beat the fury in almost every case though?
Caleb Thomas
>getting a 1060 when AMD FineWine Technology has put the 480 equal or better in most games >480 also has Freesync
Jason Murphy
1060 and 480 are too low for me, need more power for my VR, want to be able to run some decent super sampling
Justin Wright
It's amazing how in Canuckstan, a brand new 1060 3GB is about $290 plus 13% tip.

wait for 1080 ti to release buy a 1070 at a cheaper price
Alexander Morgan
Go shopping on Craigslist and local Facebook garage sale groups and buy whatever someone is selling for the best price. I wanted to find a cheap RX 480 8gb, but instead I found this GTX 1060 8gb for $140 and was unable to pass it up
Eli Mitchell
1060 6gb rather

980ti, OC it. Equal or most likely better than 1070. Get 1070 if price diff is less than $20.
Mason Murphy
What do you actually look at when buying a graphics card? I want to do vr game play, game development, and video encoding.
Juan Garcia
>980ti
Doesn't like the fury x beat it in every 2016 benchmark?
Kevin Richardson
Nah, pretty much only in AMD favored games like Ashes of Singularity and DOOM. The fury x is also held back by it's low vram when using anything higher than 1080p
