What distro has python 3.6 already?
What's the rush? Most python autists are still using python 2.
nixos
Don't forget the ancient, obsolete 4.8.13 kernel that's been flagged for almost a month.
This. I want my 4.9!
Arch isn't a cutting edge. It's an amateur distro made for schoolkids to learn CLI.
I was going to install Ubuttu until I saw this. Thanks, I want to master the CLI by the end of this year.
Is this the new Arch hate thread?
...
Hmm pretty sure I don't have it on fedora 24
I'm on arch and I have python 3.6
Ignore my insane number of packages, I'm a horder.
Fedora Rawhide
Python 3.6 is in the testing repos, you can use testing if you want, but shit might break. They want to test to make sure the python packages don't need to be fixed before breaking everyone's boxes like the used to do.
>get shit in the repos as soon as released
>>lmao arch linux breaks your system XDDDD
>test shit before pushing it into the main repos
>>lmao it's not cutting edge xDdDDDD
It's in AUR, retard
Very true
GuixSD
Fedora/Redhat
Pretty much all the BSDs
Windows
Arch is literally the hipster nu-male of the distro world. Ubuntu is the distro for smart successful alpha males.
There is literally nothing wrong with being a NEET.
nah gentoo is for smart people ubuntu is for people who do not want to spend time configuring things for a week
Any reason to use python 3 over Python 2?
>Debian experimental
Python 3.6 has been in Arch testing the day it was released.
Cool, did I say otherwise?
Enable testing, you will get it right away
>oxygen
