Mine hasn't canceled but it's not showing up on my credit card statement anymore. It was "pending" earlier.

I received an actual order confirmation email today, but no shipping notice yet.

Link?

No cancellation yet.

How many did you guys order?

x3 SSDs
x1 M.2 SSD here

Did any who chose expedited shipping receive any shipping notifications?

I placed 14 orders of 5 on the SATA drives.

Mine got cancelled around noon. But I bought 5

Just ssds. I ordered 2 gf ordered 2.

Gotdamn I am hopeful this shit will through. When the 2 1080p monitor pricing error happened I got the cancellation email the following day, seems we've made it passed that mark. .

>got greedy

rookie mistake

bought 2 in 2 orders
neither order has been cancelled, but neither one has been shipped yet.

Did you pay with paypal?

slickdeals.net/f/9636776-250gb-wd-blue-2-5-pc-ssd-solid-state-drive-20-more-free-shipping

Apparently some orders have already shipped, and some have gotten cancelled

I feel like I really fucked up by not choosing expedited shipping.

Well guys, it was fun.

Don't you put that evil on me, user

FUCK there goes my 3 m.2s.

Yeah but if you only buy one, you don't really earn enough to even make it worth your time (IMO)

Sue them. They can't just cancel your order.

The dream is still alive for me

It says right in their terms that they can for whatever reason.

this is fake.

fake total amounts listed

NICE PAINT SKILLS, FAGGOT

100% FAKE

It's 0 because it's a cancelled order retard.

>DUDE CANCELLING ORDERS MEANS THAT THE TOTAL OF 19.99 X3 = 0$

kill yourself retard

Just mad cause youre not Gunna get ssd

Mine already shipped. I chose next day shipping.

If 5, Sup Forums's SSDs ship

based card dueler man

I ordered 3 m.2's and two SSD's and they shipped (expedited).

They couldn't just cancel it here in EU. :^)
>murikan law

prove it faggot

Thank you body snatching pharaoh man

...

>They couldn't just cancel it here in EU
Yes they can, every TOS ever, also in the EU, states that prices could be subject to change in case of an error

rest in peace anons

If they decide they don't want us to ship the SSDs then we can start a change.org petition, send it to all the major news outlets, email their support demanding our SSDs.

Why would they do this. Many of us have made promises to our family member and friends of getting this for them as a gift, only to be left disappointed. We received no compensation, no coupons. The CEO is worth $20 billion dollars, but they don't want to provide what they promised to their customers. Most of the charge for the SSD is for marketing, R&D, etc. They can afford this. They sold $2000 laptops in mexico for just $30, a MUCH bigger discount. Another example of an American company being assholes to their customers. They probably will lose more money from this, as thousands of customers wont be purchasing dell products again. Not to mention many of us even received CONFIRMATION emails saying that we would be getting out products.

A while back when Razer was MUCH smaller they made a similar but much bigger mistake. They honored it unliked Dell.

We just have to stay persistent and we will get out SSDs.

Oh yeah man fight for your $20 SSD. Jesus christ

2 $100 SSDs*

besides, it's about principle.

i'll sign the petition if you post it here or on slickdeals dude idgaf

Except it doesn't matter if the law says if it was ordered for this price it needs to be sold for it.
Law is above ToS

I'll make it when it's confirmed they are cancelled. I have only seen 1 image which may be faked. If I receive an cancellation or if I see more images I will make it.

>we can start a change.org petition,
HGAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

with what, 4 signatures?

You realize thousands of people bought them right.

Thousands of people will be pretty pissed that they got screwed. channel 4 news has come together before to get what we want, we can do it again.

all I see are some crying autists on Sup Forums sad they can't steal $100 from a company

all I see is an autist crying that he didn't get an SSD for $20

we have a chance, so why not fight?

Bigass companies steal much more of your money in taxes, so I see no problem in forcing dell to send these ssds to fellow anons :3
I'm gonna sign it too

My setup is worth $10,000 :^)

An investment in autism.

>Taxes are stealing
why don't you live in a country where you don't have to pay taxes, like somalia, if they're so bad for you?

>too retarded to read
Dell DOESN'T PAY TAXES like they should, hence, they're stealing money from us.

:^)

so sue them :^)

I didn't order these SSDs
But signing this petition will do more damage to their reputation :^)

I mean sue them for stealing your money via taxes :^)

I'm not a murifat, so they don't steal my money

RIP

i called and the pajeet said they were rerouting all the packages even the ones that shipped out

Sure is reddit in these threads. Faggots talking about some we can do it internet bullshit.

Yeah, it's pretty obviously some cringy kids from reddit whining about not being able to steal $100 from “the man” and wanting their personal army to work some meme magic

Are you serious?

scholarship.law.wm.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1059&context=wmblr
it was not an obvious pricing error, it looked like a legitimate sale.
it was up for over 6 hours
some people got their orders fufilled apparently
they took everybody's money already
now they are trying to sell them 80 dollar ssds instead
that's textbook bait and switch and according to the FTC it's also illegal

If you have had confirmation then you have a very strong legal standing on getting your SSD.

The sad part is that they are

Amazon have been a lot better with cancelling misprices as of late. Had a £10 1060, £90 32gb ddr4 and more cancelled recently.

Bump,

Bait and switch is when they try to upsell you. That's the "switch" and it's required for it to be bait and switch.
This is an advertising pricing error and companies are not bound to sell to you at that price. You're not going to get a $39,999.99 car for $.99 because somebody forgot to type in a few digits.
Laws are made to protect people from swindlers, not to enable them. In this case you're the one trying to swindle a product, so guess whose side the law isn't on?

Confirmed, but not cancelled.

CC statement still lists it as a pending charge.

they tried to upsell me on the phone when i called them. also their terms of service state that once they ship a product out the tile is transferred to the customer.
they are fraud intercepting packages that have already had the title legally transferred to their customers.
they are breaking their own terms of service
they are the ones that swindled us
they used our lines of credit for viral marketing
today there were articles about the new western digital ssds in several popular pc news sites.
the deal was up for at least 6 hours... that was not a mistake. they rode the wave of publicity so we have to ensure they get bad press for abusing their customers lines of credit.

Offering you the item at the correct price is not "upselling," it's "selling."
A package does not legally belong to you until it's at your door.
Cry moar.

>Starting petitons
>Expecting them to work

You'd have to sue them, law is worthless if you have no means to enforce it.

ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/advertising-faqs-guide-small-business

What makes an advertisement deceptive?
According to the FTC's Deception Policy Statement, an ad is deceptive if it contains a statement - or omits information - that:

Is likely to mislead consumers acting reasonably under the circumstances; and
Is "material" - that is, important to a consumer's decision to buy or use the product.
What makes an advertisement unfair?
According to the Federal Trade Commission Act (link is external) and the FTC's Unfairness Policy Statement, an ad or business practice is unfair if:

it causes or is likely to cause substantial consumer injury which a consumer could not reasonably avoid; and
it is not outweighed by the benefit to consumers.

Bait and Switch
How does the FTC define "bait and switch" advertising?
It's illegal to advertise a product when the company has no intention of selling that item, but instead plans to sell a consumer something else, usually at a higher price. For more information, ask the FTC for its Guides Against Bait Advertising.

>has no intention of selling that item, but instead plans to sell a consumer something else, usually at a higher price

Internet Advertising
Is advertising on the Internet subject to the same laws as other advertising?
Yes. Ad claims on the Internet must be truthful and substantiated.

You have to be 18 to use this website.

in their terms of service you can enter arbitration with them, it's actually required you do that or take them to small claims court individually. BUT IN THE AGREEMENT IT SAYS THEY PAY THE COSTS LOL
so literally everyone that ordered this shit can take them into arbitration over it, ESPECIALLY those who had their orders fraud intercepted in transit.

you probably work for dell damage control pajeet.
they're fudging ftc rules and their own ToS

There's no terms of service here. They cancelled the order.

by placing a purchase order you agree to the terms of sale according to them, otherwise none of the contract would be enforceable.
dell.com/learn/us/en/uscorp1/terms-of-sale-consumer

They can do whatever the hell they want, they're not bound by their own TOS unless you force them to, and the way to do that is to sue them.

>Orders, Pricing and Payments. Dell strives to communicate accurate pricing and product information but will not be held responsible for any pricing, typographical, or other errors in such communications. Your order is subject to cancellation by Dell, in Dell's sole discretion.

>Purchases may not be resold or exported. Your purchase is for your own use, not for resale or export. Your purchase may not be sold, leased, or transferred to restricted countries, restricted end users, or for restricted end uses according to U.S. export and sanctions laws.

You agree to the limits they set. They do not have to go through and serve, though.
They bind you, not them.

And you cant sue them because you agreed to a binding arbitration clause.

>This is a binding agreement. As an Agreement between Dell and yourself, it may NOT be altered, supplemented or amended by any other document unless the new document is signed by both you and Dell. In addition to this document, the terms contained within the other Dell documents referenced in this Agreement, including Dell’s License Agreements, Return Policy, Consumer Service Contracts, and Consumer Warranties may apply to your purchase.
>not bound by their own TOS
riight... dell pajeet confirmed...

>Shipping. Product title passes to you when the Product is shipped.
if they give you a tracking number and then intercept the package they are stealing from you as they already legally gave you legal title, it says so right there in their terms of sale!
idk why they worded it that way it's pretty retarded on their part

>Purchases may not be resold or exported. Your purchase is for your own use, not for resale or export. Your purchase may not be sold, leased, or transferred to restricted countries, restricted end users, or for restricted end uses according to U.S. export and sanctions laws.

that entire line is unenforceable, look up first sale doctrine. After it's you take ownership you can do whatever you want with it. Except shipping it to countries with sanctions.

Had a hell of a time explaining that to my bosses at a distribution company.

also this lol just because their agreement "takes away freedoms from you" the freedoms are protected by laws paid for by taxes that usurp dell's legalese

>riight... dell pajeet confirmed...
fuck you, i have one ordered i just lived long enough how shit like this goes down. we can't win, if they decide to cancel then its over, if they ship them then we all did good.

the facts are pretty simple they priced something for $20, they took the money and now they changed their minds. I seriously doubt even a paid for them arbitrator would have a hard time with this. you'd have to sue them, and that will cost more than the drive. there are no winners here.
