Pretty much. its edgy design may not be contemporary but the colour scheme of space grey and black is second to none. Why is the space grey and black on the 7 so fugly? It looks super cheap

The screen is a bit small if I'm being honest.

t. iPhone SE owner

it's the best phone ever and will be forever relevant.

I liked the iPhone 3GS design better.

The Nexus 5 is.

>no removable battery
>no external storage
It's shit.

I hate Apple products, but I'd own an SE.

Too much bezel. The camera, speaker and proximity sensor takes too much space on an already small screen.

Probably. Galaxy S2 was pretty cute too and Alpha too, although Samsung and most Lagdroid manufacturers ruin their design with branding.

It's not as much the screen as the ratio I'd say. There is definitely too much wasted space and too fat bezel. Although it's still better than the rest overall.

OnePlus X beat it

>design
no

That was a limitation of the technology at the time. The design is still great

OnePlus X is nice looking, but isn't outstandingly gorgeous.

>le generic brick
Just no.

>That was a limitation of the technology at the time.
Not really, there were phones who handled it better and even current iPhones suck at it.

Not allowing to open the phone for a "premium look" is a design choice.

Yes. I loved holding a brick instead of some gay palm hugging design.
>gay

Sorry but I believe this is the pinnacle of design.

Arguments can be made for battery back in the day but in case of SE, it easy lasts two days, so there is no point to ruin the look for some meme.

Replaceable storage is slower, so once again not the best choice.

Edge is pretty nice but too big and ruined by frontal branding and overly noticeable sensors.

NOTE 7 beats it in aesthetics

but we know how that burned out

No idea how anyone thinks iPhone 5 > iPhone 4 design.

Yes the Edge beats the 5s/SE in design but unfortunately it runs Android. The non-Edge Galaxy looks like ass though.

i own an SE, and am deeply disappointed that they wont refresh it this year

its the perfect phone for me, not a retarded tablet size so it easily fits into my pocket and it looks great

It will probably come back after the big phone meme dies out and the SE should last you for another year or two.

Why would they waste money on refreshing it EVERY year? It's their budget option. At best it'll have 2-3 years refresh cycles.

That'd be the BlackBerry Passport

Looks very uncomfortable. Is it supposed to be aimed toward serious businessmen who do srs bsns to put on their suit pockets?

It's actually quite pleasant to use other than the fact that the keyboard's missing a row.

Cool, it does look really nice.

THICC

If the glass was tougher then yes it would be

Are there any android phones that steal it's design?

There are chinkphones that look just like iPhones, I almost bought one a few years ago. I'd imagine they're still a thing. Maybe try asking

What I love about my 5S is how it satisfies my OCD - everything is in a line - camera, ear speaker, and home button.

Phones with an off-centre camera, or other wierd shit freak me out

Only thing that breaks this is the tiny red light sensor that you can see glowing in the dark to the left of the camera

My favorite slate phone design has to be the Xperia Z3.

I like the faux pas "metal" and the kawaii colours of the s4 more

>faux pas "metal"
i don't think you know what that word means

>literally the shittiest made Galaxy other than S3
this has to be a bait

Surely you mean words?

B-but it's pink!
Hot pink!

No, he's referring to the pas, the faux is coincidentally correct.

oh, so hideous. Apps look like they've been made for children. The pinnacle of android design is the LG G4. in leather. Cannot be denied.

I'm using my iPhone 4 right now. The dumbest and most trivial shit like McDonalds app is not even supported by this thing. The screen size makes typing an absolute pain in the ass. It is also slow as fuck and I don't even install shit on it, Google maps take forever too. I hate this phone.

We want the Chinese market

Aren't we talking aesthetics?

No:
>4.5 inches and just a little bit thinner
>2.5 GHz Dual Core with 3 GB of RAM
>32/64/128 GB of storage space
>Apple tier 13 mp rear camera and 5 mp front camera
>720p screen with ~326 (Apple's new favourite number) ppi
>Gorilla Glass 4 or at least something that doesn't break as easily as the 5
>2500-2900 mAH battery
>silver bezel like the iPhone 4s would be the ultimate phone
>touchID
>launch price between €699 and €899
That's basically what the 6 should've looked like in my opinion, but they're going for the paper thin meme now

>everybody is a cuck
>everything is a meme

I miss the old days

Right. I know a lot of people like the original 4 aspect ratio but I don't know why you wouldn't take a wider/taller aspect. The sides also looking like an ice cream sandwich, 5 is much better there, the only problem with it are the lines at the back.

But they're disgusting.

>The sides also looking like an ice cream sandwich
The steel band's a great touch though, also makes look great

The iPhone 4 is sadly unusable nowadays, but the 5, and especially the 5s are still very good phones

3GS better. Hard edges on the rear face of a phone were a mistake.

>design
>nigger drops technical shit
Autism.

>4.5 inches and just a little bit thinner
>2500-2900 mAH battery
That's not how physics work. Besides, it'd be completely unnecessary. SE lasts as much if not longer as most phones with 1500mAH.

Glass back is a pretty shitty idea.

is there anyway to downgrade iphone4 to iOS6
iOS7 was a mistake

As an owner of a (sadly broken, battery and USB-C port are fucked) I can say it's still a nice phone and definitely better than my Samsung Galaxy A5 2016, which gets fucked not only in benchmarks, but also can't play 1080p 60fps videos, which my LG G2 has no problem with

Glass back is an awesome idea, it's just not ideal for klutzes. Lucky for you there are still plenty of phones made of plastic and/or metal

Sorry, , it's an LG G2

It's not about breaking it, people who can't keep their phone in their hands are pretty retarded.

Glass simply doesn't offer too many benefits while attracting fingerprints. Aluminium is better for cooling and touch (unless it's winter) and plastic is better for weight, price and antennas.

I'm pretty sure you can fit at least 2xxx mAH in there

Nexus 6P
>Larger
>Fingerprint sensor on the back in a ridiculously convenient spot
>Thinner and has a full length camera buldge so it won't wobble on a table

Only improvements I'd made
>Better battery tech
>Second fingerprint sensor on front for when you have it on a table
>Proper USB3.1 support

Glass is better than plastic for touch while being better than aluminium for RF transparency.
>weight
I prefer heavy phones. My current phone weighs 194g and I love it.

>2 fingerprint sensors
waste of space

>Larger
Yeah, no thanks. Some people want a phone and not a mini tablet.

Also camera bulges are disgusting.

>OnePlus X is nice looking, but isn't outstandingly gorgeous.

Take it back

t. oneplusx user

This right here is the correct answer, the Note 7 would have been better since the front and back was symmetrical, but would go boom boom.

hi carlos

Best design, yet to be topped.
iPhone 4S is a close second.

The flobs are absolute fucking cancer in use and the plastic in the middle generally looks like shit. Also it's too fat and got ugly branding. And the silver headphone jack on a black phone, pretty disgusting.

Overall it's alright but nothing special, besides again, practicality. The flobs are horrible.

t. Xperia Z3C owner who switched to SE (mostly due software though)

Have you ever used one?
I've had mine for 2 (three?) years. Amazing.
I don't use the water covers though, I have a magnetic charger.
The design is simply superb. Symmetry, good on the hands.
Function is also good. Bumper corners, water resistance, mag charger, etc.

Also, it's a bit fat if you're a muh thin whore, otherwise it's good.

>due to software
What was the problem?

>Have you ever used one?
Try reading his post again.

its a shame the back housing is flugly

But let's not kid ourselves, iphone SE is the best.

>let's not kid ourselves
>proceeds to kid

>I don't use the water covers though
Then you're missing the worst part. They made charging a fucking gable after 1-2 years, sometimes they work fine, sometimes fall out. Also headphone jack died, which was the first time I had hardware issues with a phone in decades; and from what I read it's not a totally uncommon problem.

>Symmetry, good on the hands.
All true. Just applies to many phones. It probably takes some effort to make a normal sized phone feel bad in the hands.

>Bumper corners, water resistance
While that's pretty good, the way they solved it is suboptimal, with the corners looking shitty and the water resistance necessitating the flobs of hell. Modern phones went around it much better.

>What was the problem?
Sony updated killed LTE, STILL no patch for it, although Android generally became pretty annoying (and I wanted to give iOS a try due muh eco system)
It's still useful as porn phone so there is that.

Ignoring the size, the silver body + black bezels looks weird but the idea was cute.

Never had the headphone jack brake.

>corners look shit
not really, I like the looks

>modern phones went around it much better
Technology goes forward

Never had software problems.

>Some people are manlets with four inch hands
Sad but true

Harambe is that you?

>Having to move your phone closer to your arm because you can't reach the top left corner with your thumb
Looks gud 2 me

Well, either you got lucky or I got very unlucky.

>talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z3/LTE-BUG-issue-No-LTE-signals-on-new-update-Marshmallow/td-p/1116261
Too many complains about headphone jack to bother linking.

>not really, I like the looks
Come one, a clean line like on the other side looks better. The whole "push rubber thingies out of a phone to access usb/sd card/sim" design is functional at best but not too good on looks.

Unless you got monster hands, you'll need to move around the phone in your hand to access the entire screen comfortably. Besides, nigga it's a phone. If you want to watch chinese cartoons, a laptop does the job much better. Only the really huge screens like Note make somewhat sense if you use the phone as notebook.

I wouldn't trade my phone in for anything less then 400$
it only cost 50$ upfront and love how all the icons are white not distracting from the wallpaper. Battery life is excellent, does all the basics. And it's smaller then 5". Small phones are comfy. :)
needs nfc though :(

yes actually, a method for doing this came out a month or so ago

Hey man, i'd take slightly slower storage over having a set small ammount of storage any day.

Fucking this. I don't try to pretend my phone's a supercomputer, it's for communication and cellular Internet.

In that case limited but fast storage is a lot more noticeable. The only excuse for 128gb+ are excessive music/anime collection, shooting hours of 4K video or using it as portable storage.

I honestly get the micro SD meme, it was a major criteria for me back in the day but now that 64GB is available and some use NVM, it's simply the better choice for most.

I used an iPhone 4 from release until about three months ago. I can confirm that it is one of the best phones I have used, authough near the end of it's lifespan app support was practically nonexistent.

No, because it's more fucking expensive and I can't expand the storage. I don't give a shit if I can buy a phone with enough storage, I'd much rather buy the base model and pop in a microSD card for less.
