VZW Unlimited

I fucked up and it may affect my whole family.
Got one of these in the mail today.
Did a quick google search and evidently Verizon set a limit around 100GB to kick off unlimited users.
I had no idea about this or I would have been monitoring my usage more closely to avoid risking this delicious cake I've been eating for nearly a decade.
How screwed am I?
Should I even bother to call verizon and plead with them?
"I won't do it again. I promise!"

Sounds like a good time to switch.

what carrier could Sup Forums suggest?
Sprint doesn't work in my area

did you think using mobile tier internet as a residential line would last forever?

you knew the ride had to end
just get a good local ISP that doesn't do any cancer caps

you think your "cake" caused Verizon to impose this limit onto you specifically? or do you think if you monitored your usage more carefully this wouldn't have happened?

what makes you think you crying "I won't do it again. I promise!" at them will make them go "yeah alright pal, you keep that unlimited internet because you've convinced us you don't actually need more than the limit anyway!"

If I would have known this then I would have actually tried to monitor my usage and maybe not get my family kicked off the gravy train

LUL at you Americans and your third world data plans

Get raped and kill yourself, you retarded fucking faggot sack of nigger shit with down syndrome.

kek, I only use about 50mb a month, never got one of those letters

Hmm, limited data plans or shitting in the streets... I know which I'd choose.

>this asspain
even Romania has decent internet access, what's your excuse? you're the land of the free right? the greatest nation on earth?

Tmobile obviously, they are the only ones capable of reliably rolling out 1gbps LTE as they have been using dual aggregation shit the longest and the infrastructure is already there.

You guys need it for all the donkey porn you consume, I guess.

>Romania has decent internet access
Post your LTE speeds lol.

just ignore it, it's a scare tactic to get you to accept a worse plan

I'm not romanian you illiterate retards, where did I say that?

T-Mobile has a pretty good deal on their new unlimited family plan. You might be able to switch your phone over if it has the proper antennas, but I've had trouble doing that with mine

You sure mention Romania a lot for someone who claims not to be from there.

Once a post is a lot to you?

He's deflecting, he can't afford LTE and it probably gets 3g speeds in his 3rd world shithole if he gets it at all.

Yes it is, for comparison I haven't mentioned my country at all in this thread.

It puts the poo in the loo or it gets the East India Company again.

I'll probably get a prepaid T-mobile phone or straight talk in case my line actually gets disconnected, then move the number to T-Mobile if it actually happens.

>not just getting a decent fiber connection
>instead doing normie shit
>lel no wires so awesome totally epic I can watch facebook in the park

>data caps
>in fucking 2017
lmao

>third world data plans
It's way worse than the third world, in the third world merely having a data cap would make your ISP go bankrupt.

>third world
>nothing to do except stream shitty videos all day

They should offer unlimited if they claim unlimited, but how in the fuck did you go over 100GB in a month on a cellphone? Do you not have wifi?

I hotspot at work during downtime for torrents and streams.

Normies don't like home internet connections because it involves having to plug shit in and have some wires, way too complicated for them.

Lel. Good.

>not using Project Fi

>paying $10/gb for data
I use Fi too but only because I almost never use data.

that truly depends on your area, on my area sprint is oversubscribed with costumers way beyond their capacity to the point where phones dont even ring on the phone end. verizon is undersubscribed with extremely fast LTE and att is ok with around 4mbps down. but that doesnt apply to you because your area is different.

In pricing alone, Cricket is the cheapest one.

Same, very rarely do I ever go over 1GB.

I guess because we're not fucking normies.

Tmobile has a plan with unlimited data, first 5GB at LTE for $30

Google's plans are shit.

I don't need data, so $20 for Fi beats $30 for Tmobile.

If I switch to Tmobile will I still get android updates at the same rate?

After a bit of research on T-mobile, it seems like they frown on tethering as well, despite allowing 7GB on the unlimited plan.

T Mobile is not that bad.

Depends on what phone you use?
iPhone, Nexus, or Pixel? As soon as they're available.
Carrier-branded shitphones? You'd be lucky to get even a single update.

>7GB on the unlimited plan.
>""""""""unlimited""""""""
>7.0 Gigabytes

I have a Nexus 5x right now

My extra usage came from me streaming and tethering away from my home network.
Have you had any good/bad experience doing this with Tmobile?

Then you'll get updates right away. The latest January 5th update to 7.1.1 was just released, so you can either wait for the OTA or download it from the Google Developer page right now.

They have no restrictions on tethering. Of course it counts against your data allotment but that's still miles better than carriers that charge you extra for it.

I meant for the unlimited plan.
A quick google search says that users are given 7GB for tethering, and they terminate people who abuse tethering.

>when unlimited isnt unlimited

>people who use tethering
FTFY. Don't support their abuse of language.

Look up the Bestbuy contract method that allows you to upgrade your phone along with locking in your unlimited data plan for 2 years.
